My wife and I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the Mike Hart agency over the last year and a half ... and multiple times we tried to resolve the problem.

When asking to take my son off the auto insurance policy our entire policy was cancelled. My wife went in and explained the situation twice and we were assured it was taken care of.

When my wife went to get her car license renewed she asked about the policy number and she was informed that she didn't have any insurance. She agreed to pay the "back insurance" of nearly a year. I paid $500+ over the phone.

We received a paper billing for another $450 and were given the option to split it up over 3 bills. I called to discuss with the office staff and they said I didn't have to pay the additional charge, just the $58 a month on autopay.

I cancelled my insurance when our next bill was over $500. I got a good rate at Allstate - $46/month.

I had my insurance with State Farm over 35 years, but this was my reason for changing both my auto insurance and my homeowners insurance.
