If i could give this institution ZERO stars I would!! signed up for an account, signed up for my direct deposit, my check was supposed to post on 02/21, i did not see my check in my account until 4:00pm THAT DAY! I CAN NOT ACCESS MY FUNDS, I DO NOT HAVE MY DEBIT CARD THAT THEY SAID WOULD ONLY TAKE 5 DAYS ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS, THE APP WILL NOT LET ME ADD AN EXTERNAL BANK TO EVEN MOVE MY FUNDS, CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN LYING TELLING ME THEY WILL CALL ME BACK AND EXPIDITE THE ISSUE SINCE 2/21 IT IS NOW 2/25 AND NOTHING!!!!!!!! I AM SO PISSED!! DO NOT TRUST THIS INSTITUTE!!!

This company is trash. I got a card through angeleno connect. When I lost my card while I was moving that's when all hell broke loose. I called to cancel the card and get a new card. They cancelled the old card but made me go through so much headache to send me a new card. They asked me to send them a light bill with my name and my new address to prove that I actually moved šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. I did send the bill but I ducted all the private information except the address and my name and dwp logos and infos. They refused to accept that and wanted me to send an uneducated bill which I refused. I tried to transfer my money from the account to another account numerous times, they cancel the transaction. I called trying to get hold of someone in the US to no avail. I still have $276 in that account and I can't have access to it. They are saying that they can only send me a new card at my old address. Now it's saying that the account is closed. No one to talk to. I even try to contact the city of los Angeles and there seemed to be not aware of this program anymore. This back and forth has been going on for almost a year now. I guess I will have to sue them with punitive damages in order to get my money back.

I have been paying my Rent through this company and they are Is it supposed to report i the credit card? Big boy, it's been a whole year, haven't reported. Anything been communicating with customer service. And they said they was reporting it in December. Still haven't reported anything I feel this company is fraudulent.

Hello I want to share my experience with MoCaFi debit card.I try to purchase gas at a gas station and then I declined my transaction because it was gonna take all of my funds and they didn’t let me put in the amount for how much gas I wanted so when my transaction was declined I looked on my card and all my funds was taken off I called MoCaFi and let them know that a ā€ transaction was declinedā€and I would like to receive my money back on my card because I didn’t purchase anything, they told me that I have to wait for the Merchant to release the funds,I waited a whole day. Mind you I spoke to three representatives in that day and they all said that I have to wait for the merchant to release the funds back into my account for something I didn’t purchase. So now I would like to speak to a manager or supervisor they said that the manager will call me back within 24 hours which I have a situation now, which I didn’t understand .This is bad customer Service they said they want to help people but clearly it’s sad that you would have to go to a official Bank if you want your funds to be safe.

I was approved for direct cash assistance through my city’s pandemic response. The money was to be distributed through mocafi. They have not released the money to me. I have emailed back and forth with them for over 30 emails and I’ve talked to customer service 3 plus times. They are withholding my money.

I just wish I could check my balance automatically! As it stands, on the particular card I have, you have to speak to customer service directly! It's caused some issues... like after hours? I can't get a balance? Very annoying!
