Great at first then they get all your money and then cancel your insurance. The agents never call you back. We have been dealing with and trying to fix the "issue" with why they are canceling it and the agents are just glad to take your money and don't give a rats rear end about helping you find out from underwriting what is going on. Living on a farm there are things we can't live without like extension cords going to stock tanks and rigs etc. But will they call back or talk to you. Nope they send another bill for 143.30 after they took 2982 for a year payment, then cancel it, but yet no refund as of yet which should be taken care of immediately after the termination letter and because now we won't bring the rest of the farm equipment and trucks and trailers they will bill us more money because we didn't bring everything over because they won't insure the house. Steer clear of sidney office they won't answer question nor call you back. Worst people ever.

If you miss a payment by accident or by switching your card etc. they won’t let you know, they just auto cancel your insurance and don’t say a single thing. So you’ll just be driving around with no insurance. THEN, there system didn’t bill and they automatically dropped coverage again! I do not recommend this company for insurance.

I know they fraud and lies. If you're wise I call the police department report them and Submit complaint The Wyoming insurance board. Indeed the claim adjuster will not answer play Fraudulent scheme to keep from paying injury check and much more I discovered.

I’ve been with Mountain West Farm Bureau for 3 months. At first I was pleased to be with them but then I tried to get ahold of my insurance agent to remove a car and it took me 1 MONTH to get ahold of her. Then I canceled with them due to living in Utah and getting cheaper insurance with a brand new car. I emailed my agent and she said sign this paper and we will cancel. So I did so and we canceled a few days before my next payment was due. Then about 5 days later I checked my bank account and I noticed that they CHARGED me for the next month WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, after I had canceled with them. I emailed my agent and she said that they will get me a refund for any premium that wasn’t used. I emailed her back and said I want a refund for the whole payment that was taken out and she asked for my address. I then went to my bank to dispute the payment and the teller said that they couldn’t dispute the payment since it was taken out via e-check. My bank can’t do anything. I will NEVER again go to Mountain West Farm Bureau. I will never recommend them to any friend and I will encourage anyone who uses them to find a different insurance agency.

This place is a joke.
I have worked in the insurance industry for over a decade, and this place is a prime example of why the insurance industry has a bad reputation. Total lack of communication, rude on the phone, and they canceled my policy without even telling me...!?!? I moved to Colorado and they were supposed to help me find a new Farm Bureau agent here, but instead just canceled my policy without telling me. They may have decent rates and premiums, but you get what you pay for. I suggest taking your hard earned money somewhere else, somewhere that actually cares and will take care of you in a time of need, not just turn their backs and yell at you on the phone like you did something wrong.
(I feel like it is worth mentioning that they did not deny a claim or anything too catastrophic like that towards me, I was simply calling in for a roadside assistance tow, only to find out my policy cancelled over 4 months ago with no notice from them what so ever)

We have had Mtn West Farm Bureau for 8 or 9 years now, and I wish we would have cancelled them earlier. They have done nothing right. When adding vehicles, they always somehow messed it up, from adding wrong vehicles to telling us it was added and finding out months later it actually wasn't. It took them months to take vehicles off the policy when we took them off. Then this summer we had to file a house claim due to a hail storm. They took over 2 weeks to get an adjuster out to look at our house. Then over another 3 weeks to get us any money to fix anything (broken windows, holes in the roof, torn up siding). When the money finally came, it isn't enough to fix everything per the bids we were getting from contractors. We were told too bad that's what you get. We have cancelled them a week and a half ago and went with a real insurance company, and guess what......yep they are still taking out the premium after we cancelled. Fighting that now. No insurance would be better than farm bureau. At least then you wouldn't be throwing money away on a premium, because when you need them Farm Bureau won't be there.

Never had a problem. They answer the phone and are helpful. Never needed to file a claim or anything, but I think I’d be confident in them if I ever need to.
