I had an appointment at 4:00pm, showed up at a little before 3:45 to finish paperwork and provide insurance details. At 4:15 I was still not seen and I asked if it would be much longer. The receptionist assured me I was next in line. I told her I had someone to meet at 5 and she said I should be seen and out before then. At around 4:25, two women walked in, one was called back by 4:30, the other not too long after. Right around this same time, the receptionist asked if I wanted to skip picking out frames since I was tight on time, to which I said yes. She said the doctor I was scheduled with is wrapping up with her patient and it shouldnāt be long. At 4:45, I was still not seen and had to leave. The receptionist asked if I wanted to reschedule and I replied I would reschedule myself - which I believe we both knew I meant wouldnāt be happening at this location.
The only reason Iām giving two stars is because the receptionist was very nice, informative, proactive, and apologetic when I wasnāt seen 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment.

Has a 10am appointment this morning which I arrived early for, finally called back by the technician at 10:35. This took 7 minutes. Back to the waiting room for another 35 minutes and the doctor called me back. He spoke as if I were a child, Iām in my 60s, it took him 5 minutes to do an eye examination. Iāve never had a 5 minute eye exam. I missed 1 number out of the 12 I read and he upped my prescription. Took me out and sat me down in the section to buy glasses which I advised I would buy elsewhere especially after reading the reviews. I was also charged the $39 for screening photos only and Iāve never paid more than my $10 copay. Also it took longer to get my prescription which I probably wonāt use due to lack of exam, and receipt than my actual time in the exam. Will not return. The office in Garner I used to go to was a professional office which this one doesnāt come close to.

I have good experience when I go there. Staff always nice. Only thing i didnāt like was being lie to about not having to pay anything. Then getting a letter in the mail about a payment. Never again. Other than that everything was fine. The glasses they are okay and the prices are reasonable.

Waited months for appointment, had my exam ordered my glasses I have no insurance so I paid for everything out of pocket around $800. 3 weeks later I called to see if my glasses were in along with my husbands who was also seen the same day as me. Mine were in his were not. I went down same day to pick up my new glasses. They were wrong I told lady they are worse than my old pair everything blurred. She did some adjusting had me read a pamphlet no better. I had to move my head up and down to read forget about distance vision. These are progressive lenses the lady said Iād get used to them. Sorry to say my old pair are progressive and I did not have these issues. I again told her the glass must be wrong prescription. I asked for a refund as I cannot wear them . She said no one in office can issue a refund.There policy is another eye exam to make sure doctor ordered right prescription. This would be at no cost to me. Reluctantly I agreed my new appointment is scheduled for 2-1/2 months out nothing sooner! Iām still waiting and they have my $ . I just hope to get new glass that work or my $ back!
Update 2 weeks have gone by. Nothing has happened even though I received a phone call from them. Ironically I also received a message on my answering machine this week that my glasses are In and ready for pick up. These are the same glasses I refused due to prescription being wrong! Iām still waiting to be seen. Someone needs to get there act together at this office

I booked an appt. that the office canceled after I was already 1 he into my drive to get there. They rescheduled me for the next day only to get there and they surprised me with saying it was a virtual visit and I had to pay (mandatory) an extra $40 for a retina scan I had no intention in receiving. A doctor saw me over a tablet. I asked for my records before leaving and was given someone elseās record (Iām sure that was a HIPAA violation). I did the appt anyway since I drove over 1.5 hrs to get there since I was out of town from my usual location. The tech that tended to me was very sweet though. I just didnāt like all the surprises.

I made an appointment, the day of the appointment I showed up and they said someone called to reschedule that morning because the technician I was seeing wasnāt there that day. I didnāt get any message. I rescheduled and got my exam. I ordered glasses they said it would be up to two weeks, it took two and a half weeks and I had to call them no one notified me. When I went to pickup my glasses they were the wrong color , style, and prescription. Iām sure thereās another angry costumer out there that got my glasses. Iām now trying to get them to call the insurance company to cancel that order so I can get the glasses I need from someone that will do it right.

Unscrupulous, go somewhere else.
1. My first appointment was 10:30am. Waited for over 2hrs to be called. Didn't leave the place until past 3pm.
2. Paid additional $39 on top of my copay for the "virtual" eye exam - there is no eye doctor there to examine you.
3. I was told I need corrective lenses for reading and far distance . I thought it was weird because I never had problems with far vision after my LASIK. But I still ordered a simple pair for just reading ($89 on sale) and the second pair of progressive bifocal with transition lenses for driving - a $1040 cost with the eye exam - there's more to this ..
4. Three weeks after no notifications from them so I called and went to fetch the glasses. When I got there , they can't find the second pair and nonchalantly handed be just one pair . I told them to please look under my first name - and of course it was there.
5. I drove home using the transition lenses but I had to remove it because my vision was getting slightly blurry from the new "far distance" prescription, AND the expensive transition glasses are not transitioning even after 15mins of direct sunlight .
I called again and they said the might have to " jump start " it.
I drove back again only to find out that they made me a regular non- transition pair of glasses.
6. THE WORST :
I returned the glasses and they refunded my co-pays for the glasses only. Then I asked for my prescription .
HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS - My prescription was just for reading and not for bifocals. I didn't need corrections for far distance. So why were they selling me a progressive pair of glasses!?

Don't come here unless you plan on wasting hours of your day for an appointment. My daughter had an appointment scheduled at 11am which didn't show up in their system for some reason although I had both an email and text message confirmation of the appointment. They then saw every single person who arrived after us first and it took 2 hrs and 30 minutes for an appointment to be seen for an eye exam only. We won't ever return. I would rather spend the extra 30 minutes and deal with city traffic and drive to an eye dr further away so we can be seen in a timely fashion. Terrible service and inexcusable behavior by office staff.
Both of the ladies working the section of the office where you purchase glasses were extremely rude and unprofessional. One of them even made a comment to my daughter about their own office staff being incompetent because insurance information wasn't set up properly. After being there for hours and obviously frustrated when we were checking out and they were charging us a $59 'copay' the lady helping my daughter refused to take my card for payment after i tossed it down on the counter and told her my daughter (whom is an adult) would finish up with her because I had to take care of my other minor children (newborn included) and asked me why I was so upset and was very unprofessional and rude. I walked out and we wasted our time for nothing because she refused my payment. I will be contacting my insurance company to verify how much this copay is ($59 is such an odd amount and last I checked its also 3x what my copay SHOULD be so whats the extra $39 for) and contacting whomever is in charge of this TERRIBLY run office and rectifying the situation and putting in several complaints. I've never had such a terrible experience in a place of business before and have been treated so poorly. Do NOT go here!
