The employees here are nice. I really enjoy this bank! I don’t get to go in person to often b/c it’s an hour away from me. NASA Fed has some good long term CD rates and that’s what initially drew me to them.

This place has really gone down hill. They use to beat any bank on interest rates. Now they're quoting 3-4% higher than most! They like hanging up on you and take weeks for a loan decision. By then the seller has already sold it. They should remove the Nasa from their name, they're doing a disservice.

Started a refi with them (our bank) and after being pushed aside for months we were finally scheduled to close. After seeing the final CD (ridiculous origination fee, etc) we decided not to proceed because the terms were not what we had originally discussed. Weeks later, we have discovered they "closed" our loan based on an assumption. Day of closing, we had immediately notified the loan officer by phone and email, title company, and notary that we would not be closing and cancelled all scheduled signings. According to our bank, since the title company didn't inform NASA that we did not close our "2nd mortgage" has been reported to the credit bureau and an automatic payment has been scheduled for the 1st. We will be closing all accounts after this experience.

I had a checking and savings and I had my account merge just in case I didn't have funds in my checking. NFCU let me rack up 655.00 in fees and didn't contact or email to tell me move some money in my checking. I had over 7,000 in my savings and they didn't try give my money back in fees at all. But they suppose to be helping you manage your money. I wouldn't send no one to them.
