If I could give it a zero I would! Renters beware! The final year my girls renewed the lease the NEW property mgmt. co that took over added revisions that nothing can be done on the property w/o an extra fine. You can really only sleep there. Example: You can be fined for using an outlet in your own garage.
My daughters rented here for 3+ years and had the townhouse cleaned upon exit. The property was left better than when they moved in. I went in myself to clean it to my standards before my girls moved in 3 years ago. Video and photos were taken after upon moving out showing the units condition. Going as far as to clean inside, under and behind the stove and fridge. All lightbulbs were even changed. I have proof of all of this. They did everything to attempt to keep the security deposit. They charged for items that were cleaned and never dirty upon exit. They claimed they replaced the dishwasher upon their exit which I would like to see proof of. My daughters could not use the dishwasher as it was moldy upon renting the unit so it was not used in their years of living there.
In the state of Wisconsin they cannot even charge for basic cleaning of normal use of a living space, they are attempting to, literally claiming to clean items that were already cleaned. They can only charge for neglect or damage, not basic cleaning. They also charged for a garage remote that was returned stating it was not.
This company is full of crooks. They thought they could take advantage of young adults who didn't know better not knowing our family has owned property in the state of Wisconsin for 40+ years and know the rules and regulations and scammers like this National Management LLC.
Also beware of the apartment manager. I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she was hard and unfriendly due to the type of people she may have to deal with in the city. Lori seems to mean well but later went into my daughters property during the day to go through their things and walked in on my unsuspecting daughter while she was sleeping during the day (as worked 2nd shift at the time.) She made an excuse that she was checking vents but there was no vents in the room to check and things were moved in the apartment leaving proof she was snooping. There was a major trust issue after that. Landlords must give at least 12 hours notice and sometimes more provided in the lease to enter a premises. There was no emergency that would cause her to enter otherwise.
Beware, take tips from me and take move in photos and be honest on the move in checklist when you find problems. Note it all. They will try to charge you for things that were that way when you moved in such as the shitty blinds dragging on the carpet and the dishwasher filled with mold. Know your rights as a renter and start a claim immediately.
We will be starting court as If they are found fraudulent in the state of Wisconsin they will owe my daughters twice what they they owed them from the security deposit. They will not get a shitty renters reputation from a shitty "Property Management" company who takes advantage of the little man. Checkout their 1.8 stars on Google with employees stating they force them to lie about repairs.
Feel free to review their lies in the statement of expenses they created by comparing them to the photos of the day the girls moved out. You can see the garage and storage area (basement) were left clean though they claim otherwise. Including all internals of the place were left in clean condition. The blinds are working and in the same shape they were in when they were provided to the girls. The manager stated on the showing they would replace them but never did. They were too long and drug on the carpet when they moved in and also were dry rotten and would crack with touching. The girls replaced some vertical strands on their own while living there. If anything they claim was broken after they left they did it to keep our money.

THEY ARE CROOKS!! I would give zero stars if it was an option. Do not rent from these people. I paid my rent on time every month and wanted to move. They said after a year it goes month to month. I put in my notice then I was told I need a 60 day notice and I could move out but I’d still be responsible. After being a good resident you are rewarded with a savage money grab. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

Started out ok would fix things in timely manner. Then I decided to move because rental rates were raised Every year $20,$20,$50,$100 couldn't afford it anymore. Gave 2 month notice, at same time put in work to be done. They fixed it 2 days before I moved out. And now they are charging me for painting scrapes, cleaning window slides and other bs. Asked to do a walk through so I could turn in keys and got no response. Put keys in there office mail slot and am now charged for rekeying. They are horrible and only care that they have full apartments. And a dirty freezer and fridge, do these look dirty.

The worst place to rent from charged me $3,410 when I moved out for repairs lmao when I cleaned everything top to bottom and they charge you for carpet cleaning and don’t use it. The landlord knows nothing when you ask. Do not rent from them

Worst company to rent a apartment. Every time you turn around there raising your rent. Maintenance sucks, they charge you for using your debit card to pay your rent. 2 dollar charge and then 23 dollars for using your debit card. I'm moving out this month and recommend not to rent from National Management. Worst property management company in Wisconsin.

Trust me this is one of the worst places I've ever lived. There just money hungry slum lords, who will not fix anything. They will keep your security deposit when you move out and they will bill you for false damages and cleaning. Even if your apartment is thoroughly cleaned. As soon as they see your a decent person and you request for things to get fixed they will start to make up fake complaints and try to give you a 5 day notice for any and everything just to get you out of there. The property manager never answers phone calls, all she do is text and barely does that. The owner or head manager Tom is a snake and con man. Who will lie just to get you to sign the lease and after that he will definitely make a profit from scamming you out of every dollar he can. Most of their Tennantd are nasty and have pets who poops all over the grass just 3 feet from the front door the hallways smells like pee. And they have roaches. My 1 year old wasn't able to take a bath the whole time I was there because they painted the inside of the tub to hide the scratches and dirt and after 2weeks it started peeling and collecting dirt. When we tried to get them to fix it they said it was to expensive to replace and that they were looking into putting something over the existing tub but they never did not in the 5 months i stayed there. This place screwed us so bad.im looking into fighting the balance they say I owe because it's all a lie but I guarantee you they picked the wrong one because I promise you on my life they will get everything they deserve. Obviously Tom and national management don't believe in God or carma. Save yourself some money and a headache by not renting from these crooks

Finally when it kicked the bucket, they let it sit with black stagnant water for over a week?
It flooded all the way into the hallways.
Into the new hallway carpet they just put down with no carpet padding.
It smelled AWFUL.
Then it took them basically a month to put a new one in.

Nevermind they've raised our rent and added fees about a million times so you gotta wonder

Our pipe burst one winter, took them forever to get to it. Then they just bust a hole in our ceiling and left it.
Took them years to come patch the hole in our ceiling, they didn't even vacuum up the chunks of CEILING on the floor.
All landlords care scum bags, but these ones are the stereotypical ones you hear in stories.
