I moved into a unit in Brentwood and have had nothing but maintenance issues. Upon move in my heater, garbage disposal, and washer/dryer were all not working. Additionally they were unable to provide me with a key to the back gate which lets you in to the building from the parking area. This continues to force me to walk about a quarter mile through the alley and around the block to enter my home every single day (while still paying extra for the parking spot). It has now been two months during which I’ve followed up three times per week and they still can’t give me an answer on when they’ll have time to provide the key, instead telling me to ask a neighbor to borrow theirs and make a copy myself as this is not a priority for them. This lease term can not pass soon enough.

Paid rent on time every time for 5 years even through covid while every unit in our non-retrofitted building turned over at least once during that time. The unit above us was illegally subletting to airbnb people and through word of mouth, my partner was attacked for confronting out upstairs neighbor about cutting our internet cable, she lunged and at verbally attacked my partner. Then we moved to New Hampshire for a year and when the management company called NBK reality Zach said we always paid on time, cleaned up after ourselves, but my partner had a People problem and was aggressive to neighbors. So when we showed the new management company that NBK had reduced our rent by 100 dollars a month for 5 years for an agreement to help keep the property cleaned up to include the laundry room, which was disgusting and backed up with sewage when we got there. Our new management laughed and gave us the apartment we requested in new hampshire despite Zach trying to leave us without housing options In a rural town, and only a couple property management and rental options.
Compared to other people in our building that was poorly managed by NBK we were angels.
Becareful with this management company. You may end up getting a bad recommendation based on circumstances you had no control over but that NBK could have easily resolved.

I've been living in my apartment for almost five years now, and NBK has been handling the building like pros the whole time. Whenever I've had any apartment problems, they've been right on it, super quick and efficient.

I like how easy it is to get in touch with them. You can submit building issues through their website, or just shoot an email to the building manager. Alex is always just a message away. No fuss, no hassle.

Their responsiveness and how they tackle residents' issues have not only made my stay here better but also built up my trust in their management services. Knowing I can count on NBK to handle things promptly has been a big relief and has made my living situation comfortable.

NBK keeps it professional and manage our building very well.I know they take care of the building will keep delivering top-notch service.

This is by far the best place to call home. Quiet and serene with very friendly neighbors with a familial feel.

The Apts at 7201 -‐72-- 9th street Buena park .... has the worst managers they give you just one parking you have to pay for the second one and they always say they don't have any and you can see there friends or just them parking everywhere. No body likes them , we call to the management office and I think the secretary is he's friend because nothing happens we live here for almost 20 years and still waiting for a parking spot and for things to get fixed just like that

I rented for ten plus years from NBK Management. Perfect combination of there when you really need them and not there at all. Rent increases were the most respectful I have found also.
