She is definitely amazing, we had a different property manager before her the first few months of our lease and he was terrible at handling things. We’ve been using Northpoint for over a year now and for the first year they got us great tenants to rent our property. Going on their portal periodically I noticed that there was a maintenance request submitted by the tenants so I approved it. Then there was another one submitted that I also approved, the management company never followed through with the tenants.
The tenants decided to purchase their own home so we had to put the house back on the market, our original property manager wasn’t available any longer because apparently, “she forgot to renew her real estate license.”
So they gave us a new property manager. During the walk through the manager told the past tenants that they were going to get their full deposit back without consulting us when the place needed a deep clean and carpet cleaning along with the grout in the floor tiles cleaned. The agent took it upon himself to do a bait and switch by lowering the rent without our approval just to get people in to view the property. We called him on it and he said the computer pulled old information and it would take 24 hours to change. 24 hours it’s still the wrong price, 72 hours it’s still the wrong price and he continues to show it.
We finally spoke to his manager and she agreed he did a bait and switch to get people in so they gave us a new property manager.
During our walkthrough with this agent she pointed out everything that was dirty, including the tile grout, the scuffs on the walls, the holes in the wall that the tenant tried to patch and told us that they are responsible “because it was not considered normal wear and tear.” She also told us that 2 of the bathroom faucets had to have some hoses replaced because the water was coming out too slow. I called my own plumber and he said it was just sediment in the aerators, which it turned out it was. I almost paid $275 for a job that was not needed.
It turns out that the company decided that the only thing the tenant is responsible for is carpet cleaning and cleaning of the house. I had to have drywall replaced, patched and painted because it was “normal wear and tear?” All in all they were upset because we fired them for being so incompetent and not practicing truth in advertising (illegal tactics). They also lied to us to keep our business by telling us that the tenants would be responsible for a big part of the cost and they should not of been told they were getting all their money back.
Now that we fired the company everything is totally different, we were told by the manager that they cannot go back and change what the past agent told them about getting all their money back.
You will be better off managing your own property because for the monthly payment you pay them they’re not doing anything to earn it. They never conducted the 6 month inspection we had to remind them at the ninth or tenth month to do it. You will see from the pictures the open jobs and the disgusting way our floor has been left that this poor management company won’t do anything about when we paid over $1200 to have it deep cleaned including the carpets and grout prior to them moving in.
*Update*
This company will also not reimburse you for any damage done to your home, damage was done in our downstairs bathroom by the tenant, after Northpoint told us we would get reimbursed and now they’re refusing to.
Also the company said that our floors are normal wear and tear, well they should be restored to what they looked prior to the tenants moving in. They won’t do anything, do not go with this company, they bait you on everything and then switch their decisions.
They should change their name to Bait & Switch.

Update: After 2 months this company could not rent my property after almost 2 months. They told us to drop the price by $100 per week to get it rented. We fired them and bought in Top Tier and in 3 weeks the lease has been signed.
