Oasis Apartments is a great place to live! My husband and I lived there for almost 4 years and we loved it. The only reason why we moved is because we finally bought a house. The office staff and maintenance team are very nice and helpful. The grounds and amenities are always clean and well maintained. We felt safe and at home during our time living there. Also, the close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, the highway and and the beach is super convenient. I would recommend Oasis to anyone looking for a new apartment in Virginia Beach!

The management and staff is great, especially the ladies in the office. They go above and beyond to make sure all of your needs and concerns are met. Maintenance is also very speedy when it comes to getting anything fixed or repaired in unit or on property. The units are all renovated with nice quality laminate wood floors and new carpeting in bedrooms, granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, etc... Although it is a smaller apartment complex, there is LOTS of grass to walk your dog(s), or have your children play outside, etc... Overall, it is a decent place to live. I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 because, in my opinion, the cost of rent is too high, and the quality of some of the people living there is not the best 😬

I lived at Oasis for the past 2 years and just moved out. There were pros and cons to the place and if you're interested in a brutally honest and detailed review, please keep reading. I'm going to start with the cons because they are what's preventing me from giving it the 5 stars I think it has the potential to reach. The biggest con for me are the safety issues regarding off leash dogs. I am not a pet person in general but even if I was, I would not feel safe here (epecially if I had young children.) I had a problem with 3 different neighbors and their off leash dogs which chased me into my car and also nearly ENTERED my unit. When I went to office staff about my safety concerns they would sometimes speak to the neighbor and sometimes not. They often encouraged me to call animal control but I could rarely so do in time and since its their complex and their legally binding leases, I don't know why they were fine opening themselves up to so many safety risks. I felt it was very unfair that I followed the rules of my lease so carefully and kept such a clean apartment only for MUlTIPLE neighbors to break the city law and lease and have strange dogs that no one knew run around the parking lot and lobby. There are 2 other cons which didn't bother me as much. Like others have mentioned, if you're one a ground floor-good luck. Walls are thin and you will be kept awake from time to time. And the last con would be the parking. If you have a guest they need a temporary pass before the office closes at 5 PM and if they cant get it they better hope there is a visitor spot open (there are hardly any). Now I'll move onto the pros. The location and units are great. Hilltop is a fun area and wow the units look good and are super spacious. The manager Ashley is nice and so are the office staff in general (if only they actually cared about my safety and not just my unit). The maintenance staff is also great and best of all there are pretty much no bugs at all. The lobby and outside pesticide keeps them OUT which was my favorite thing. Overall I loved my apartment and even swam in the pool a few times. I just wish I could have experienced better less stress there due to almost having so many safety issues. It was supposed to be my home but I only had a few months of peace before another neighbor would move in and start causing issues. Maybe the staff need to emphasize this problem in the lease BEFORE people move in (although since its the law, you'd think grown adults would have more common sense and courtesy.) I do want to thank Oasis for giving me a clean home for 2 years. I just hope they make some changes so no one has to suffer and stress like I did.

I’ve had both good and bad experiences at Oasis. On the positive side, grass is cut and beautifully maintained , convenient location near the highway and stores, and the peaceful atmosphere stand out. However, there are negatives like the unpleasant smell in the trash area, frequent issues with the laundry, noisy neighbors, and a lack of professionalism from the staff, particularly Ashley . I went to the office to talk to Ashley and I was confronted by the janitor , she almost hit me , and Ashley just sat there like a proud mother . I was banned from the office , they don’t treat foreigners with respect here . When I contacted corporate, they immediately sided with Ashley without hearing my side of the story. It felt like there was a bias against me before I even had a chance to explain what happened.

This is a old on the outside, beautifully updated on the inside, clean, well maintenanced apartment complex. The pool is lovely, the workout equipment in good condition. The Propery Manager, Ashley, is kind, professional, and gets the job done! And clearly she knows what she is doing because all the rest of the staff are also kind, friendly, mindful, and get the job done! Maintenance request are done promptly. The common areas are kept clean, there is a playground for the kids, the grounds are landscaped, and there are dog stations for people to clean up after their pets. I see well dog breeds that other apartments wouldn't take too. They have food trucks and community activites (They even had a fire truck come out for the kids). It's a great community atmosphere.

This apartment complex is amazing! I just renewed my lease with Oasis. It’s been the best experience. Seana and Ashley in the office are amazing. Your first impression when you meet them never goes away, because they genuinely care about the residents here. The apartments are homey, maintenance is friendly and amazing- any minor issues that have come up are fixed so promptly. I know that if I call with any questions or issues- the ladies in the leasing office are fantastic to help me resolve them. love my home here and the staff in property leaves a lasting positive impression!!

It can be a really nice place to live at times and I truly like the location, upkeep, and quality of people in our building. Maintenance works so hard to keep this area nice and clean. However, if you have the unfortunate experience of getting chronically stuck with loud inconsiderate upstairs neighbors (like my mom and I do) it can easily become a living nightmare. We live on the ground floor and indure so much noise and disrespect through days and all through the sleepless nights. It also doesn't help that the floor boards are so weak that it sounds like elephants live above you 24/7. I work from home and my students and clients can even hear the noise and creeks during the day through the noise canceling headphones. We have complained several times. It's a shame that this issue is so detrimental to our health and well being because otherwise I would have liked to give this place 5 stars. It's decent. People are saying rent is high but rent is high everywhere. I do agree though, paying rent and not being able to get sleep at night for years isn't worth it.

My roommate and I have been living at Oasis for about 3 ½ months now and we could not be any more satisfied! I would like to start off this review by saying this is our first apartment, and when we were looking around, the staff could not have made us feel more welcome. While we did love the apartment and all it had to offer, the sense of community was a major factor in why we chose to live here.

With this being said, we also love our apartment and the amenities at Oasis as well. Our hardwood floors are super easy to keep up with, and the newly renovated kitchen is just what we were looking for! Along with this each bedroom has enough closet space for the both of us
( Which, if you knew us, is really saying something).

Lastly, I want to take the chance to talk about the community itself. I love , love , love the clubhouse and pool area. I work out in the gym almost every day; it has just enough equipment in it to where I can switch up my workouts daily. The pool is also kept very clean and has luxury sunning chairs set in the shallow end of the pool so you can lay out and not get too hot ( I have used these just about everyday since the pool has been open).

While I haven’t met everyone in the community, those who I have met are very friendly and always greet me when I see them, including the staff. Speaking of, I want to give a huge shout out to the maintenance staff who respond almost immediately to any requests that are put in. My roommate and I put in one request when we moved in and another about a month later, and the maintenance staff was there within the hour. We were honestly shocked, but in a good way. They also take the time to put a notice on every single residents’ door letting them know of any mandatory inspections they have to do. These inspections literally take 30 seconds, but it’s nice they let us know, and they haven’t been an inconvenience at all!

I am over all super pleased with my first apartment home experience and honestly feel pretty lucky that we came across Oasis. There is a great staff, great amenities, and a great sense of community.
