Scammers! Do not trust these people.
I don't even know where to start.
From the beginning they were rude. Any questions i had they were dismissive, passive aggressive and never answered their phones.
They told us we were approved for a property and last minute backed out with no explanation. They strung us along for an entire month and waisted our time.
Do not give these people any money.
We also had to pay them $90 and never got it back after they couldn't hold up their end.
Ive had multiple people tell me how awful they have been.
The fact that you did not answer messages, return phone calls and worst of all approve us for an apartment only to string us along for an entire MONTH wasting our time and backing out last minute has nothing to do with who was representing us and everything to do with you as a company.
Our representation was super helpful and had amazing communication with us. Any questions we had she would convey them over to you immediately. You on the other hand would take days to reply, stringing everyone along for weeks at a time. No answers only confusion.
Not to mention, when I spoke to you directly, you were dismissive and never helpful.
So to say that it’s our representative is a blatant lie. And extremely unprofessional.
You take no responsibility for it. The blame is not on the landlord, the blame is on you.

If you’re looking for someone to manage your property listing, or if you’re looking to buy or rent a property, I highly advise you to reconsider using Olive Tree Property Group. They cannot be trusted.

My wife and I, along with our agent, worked with Olive Tree Property Group to secure a rental property that had not even been listed yet. After paying their absurd non-refundable $90.00 application fee, we did everything on our part to provide them with all the necessary information. Throughout the whole process, it was almost impossible to reach Misty or Mandie. When we did reach them with a question, we were directed to our agent, who also had a very hard time getting ahold of them.

Despite these challenges, we managed to get our application in and were approved for the apartment. Before signing, we did our due diligence and read through the contract, which had some strange requirements. Our agent advised us to ask them about the concerning clauses in the contract and to do a second walkthrough to ensure they had taken care of everything that needed to be fixed at the property.

Olive Tree Property Group would not budge on any of the strange requirements. When we finally scheduled the second walkthrough after two weeks, we were surprised to see that only some of the promised repairs were completed. There was even still trash in the unkempt backyard. We informed Olive Tree that we would be ready to sign as long as they addressed the property issues. Instead, they informed us that our move-in date, initially agreed upon to be in about a month, had been moved up to the end of the week. They threatened to give the property to someone else if we didn’t comply.

Though this was extremely inconvenient, we agreed to move in by the end of the week. We immediately bought what we needed, rented a U-Haul, and started packing everything in our current rental. The very next day, they told us that "the owner" had decided to go with a different tenant.

Our agent was extremely surprised because she knew the owner of the property. It turned out that the owner was confused by the whole situation as well. The owner arranged a phone call with our agent and explained that Olive Tree had told her we were being difficult and advised her to go with another tenant. When our agent explained what was really going on, the owner was shocked and very unhappy with the false information Olive Tree Property Group had given her. The owner expressed her sincere apologies and told us that they had unfortunately already signed with the other tenant. She also said she would reach out to Olive Tree Property Group because she was very unhappy with how things were handled by them.

Olive Tree strung us along for three weeks, wasting our precious time and putting my wife and me in a very difficult situation with little time left to find a new place before our lease expires. Avoid working with Olive Tree Property Group because they can’t even do the bare minimum for their clients and relay the truth.
