This company was my landlord for 2 years from 2020 until earlier this year. Traci was amazing in the beginning but throughout my time working with her there was poor communication with lease renewals multiple times. They took most of my deposit because I had to stay an extra month past the lease because a result of this poor communication. I understand that part of this is my and my roommates responsibility but Traci or the owner didn’t take any responsibility. I felt taken advantage of and I was also lied to about furniture being in the home when we moved in which was also taken out of our deposit. I tried reaching out to talk to her on the phone about this all and I only got responses through email. The whole thing feels very shady to me.

So the other day I submitted an application for one of the rental properties on this companies listings. Being curious, i passed by the rental property to inspect the neighborhood and it looked nothing like the pictures on the application. Looks like Ottosen & Co used pictures from before the place was inhabited. The house was run down and it looked as if there were squatters on the premises. The listing said “move-in ready” but it obviously wasn’t. I called to see if I could revoke & withdraw my application so I can get a refund, but It was denied. I was totally flabbergasted. They’re totally deceiving and advertising their listing falsely. Beware
