I understand that selling a 112 year old home comes with it’s challenges. It has aches and pains, that new homes may not have. I traveled from out of state, for a total of 5 weeks to make upgrades, repairs as I worked towards move-in ready.

Communication with my agent was key, as I arranged for my next trip. It seemed the teamwork between Susan and Chanel lacked collaboration. For example, I stood on the porch with a lockbox; one knew the code and not the other; it took hours. How could l they position my home for realtor visits, without the lockbox code?

Although, my agent would prefer a 5-star rating, in all good consciousness, I have to be honest in my review. Over the years, I have bought and sold numerous houses in California, Massachusetts, Colorado and Texas. Therefore, I am quite seasoned and have worked with numerous realtors both buying and selling. It is critical to have good communication and have my inquiries and questions answered in a timely manner.

I found this team to be seriously lacking. When I sent a note asking three questions, one was answered and the other two were ignored. I was not informed that the closing date was moved up either. Because I live out of state, this could have had an impact on me signing off, if I were traveling or unavailable.

They did hold three open houses, but 1 full page was devoted to their business, with little verbiage and unacceptable photos. The photographer has to be called out again to retake pictures. My expectations were that this would be a team effort and I wouldn’t be struggling with questions unanswered or wondering what was going on. On a positive note, the contractors they referred were great and quite helpful. Perhaps this review will be of help to Susan and Chanel, as well as future clients.
