I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Pacific Palms Resort five out of the last six years, and it remains one of my favorite destinations. The room was lovely, the views were spectacular, and the golf course was in immaculate condition—absolutely beautiful, as always. What really sets this property apart, year after year, is the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping teams, everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful.||||That said, there was one significant issue during this stay that I hope the resort addresses moving forward: the lack of hot water.||||We were originally placed in room 705 after a long day of travel and looked forward to a refreshing shower. Unfortunately, the water never got truly hot—lukewarm at best. We contacted the front desk and were advised to let it run for five minutes. We did, but there was no improvement. They then moved us to room 1005, which was said to be “upgraded” and confirmed by engineering to have resolved the hot water issue.||||After dinner, we returned to the new room only to find the same issue. While the tub appeared dry—perhaps wiped down to seem unused—I found it hard to believe it had been recently tested, especially since the water temperature was exactly the same as in our previous room. Having managed resorts for over two decades, I understand how these things are typically handled, but in this case, the supposed solution didn’t match the reality.||||We were exhausted from over 20 hours of travel and didn’t want to pack up and move a third time, so we simply made do with lukewarm showers for the remainder of our stay. Disappointing, especially for a property of this caliber.||||As for the “upgrade,” it felt a bit disingenuous. Aside from being three floors higher, the room layout and features were identical, save for a couple of bottled waters, bathrobes, and slippers—which we didn’t end up using. In today’s hospitality landscape, many hotels already offer such amenities as part of the standard experience.||||Despite this issue, I want to emphasize that I still love this resort and will likely return again. It’s a beautiful property with excellent staff and exceptional amenities. I only hope that going forward, reported issues are truly resolved before guests are told so, and that any promised upgrades reflect a meaningful improvement in experience.||||Thank you again for the warm hospitality—and I hope next time the water’s warm, too.

Nice little gem in the City of Industry. There are 2 beautiful golf courses here with a driving range and putting greens. We didn't stay at the resort, but came here for some putting practice. There is a nice restaurant here that serves a nice buffet. Interior looks remodeled and nice.

Hi-||I am still HIGHLY upset at what happened while at Pacific Palms. It's been weeks after sending several emails and no word back.||-We paid almost $300 for one night of rest and relaxation and a false fire alarm went off at 4:50 am on a Sunday. When I told the front desk I was upset, all they offered was a voucher for a free continental breakfast. That was a total slap in the face.||-First off, For $300 per night, the room should have came with a continental breakfast anyhow. Second off, a free voucher for breakfast after we already checked out and are on our way to the car does no good. I asked if we could use it a different day and was told no. It literally said ‘good for two eggs’.||-Furthermore, we paid extra for sauna and spa access with our massages. The saunas were not working in the women’s area. We were not offered a refund or any complimentary items to make it up. They also didn’t even offer waters, tea, champagne
anything the whole time we were at Sally Spa.||-Additionally, my husband just had surgery was in a leg brace. The elevators were not working so we asked for a luggage cart when we checked in. The front desk tried to charge us a deposit to use the cart, they didn’t even offer help with our stuff even though they could clearly see he was in a brace.||-We paid in advance for a deluxe room with a large bed. Upon check-in we wer informed that all they had was a room with two small beds. We couldn’t even sleep together.||-My husband and I had been looking forward to this trip for months, this was a huge waste of money and a total let down. This was the first getaway we’ve had in 5 years without our kid with us. It was supposed to be romantic and restful; we spent over $500 bucks just to get ripped off.|||Trish Hetherington

I was working in the area so stayed over on the weekend to play some golf. Pro shop were great and managed to get me out for three rounds from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. ||||I ate in the bar in the evening, service, food and drinks were great. Many thanks to Ray for the margaritas. ||||The only issue is I was travelling from the UK so when I checked in the front desk they took a payment on a debit card. When I checked out the amount I spent was less by over ÂŁ100 and they said they would refund the excess. That was on 2nd February 2025. Tried following up on email and no replies as yet. A real shame for what was a good trip.

I stayed 5 nights there for office work and my whole experience was nothing but overwhelming. The views, room, cafe, customer service everything was top notch and remarkable. I took my family there and they loved the hotel as well. We enjoyed swimming and playing golf at the resort. Lyza a front desk person was an amazing person and made our experience memorable with her amazing customer service ! This is my place when visiting LA from now onwards

There was not hot water in our room the entire weekend. I had to use the hot tub for my body after a long day at universal studios only to get kicked out right at 10pm after being in there for 10 minutes. I would have rather had a nice hot bath. No one told us at check-in that we had to have a reservation at RED. Upon arrival we were hungry, and wanted to eat...we were sat out in the hallway leading to the pool. Our order was taken, food was delivered and we never were checked on after that. We would have ordered a ton more drinks. Once our check was dropped off, I had to go find our server to hand it to him in order to pay for our bill so we could leave. We were told we could order from RED from our room and tried to order breakfast to our rooms the next morning, but no one ever picked up the phone. We had to leave the hotel or order DoorDash to eat the entire weekend. Terrible. One of the parties in our group was walked in on TWICE....with the employee saying, oh sorry we didn't have anyone in this room. She had 3 small children and that was concerning. Fix your system! We tried to charge a drink at the bar to our room only to be told no one was staying in our rooms and they couldn't find us under our last name either. Complete Mess. I would have rather stayed at a Best Western and had complimentary continental breakfast than stay in this hotel EVER again. There is no gift shop or anywhere to buy water or forgotten toiletries. Ice Machine Jammed on 5th floor. Any money we would have spent at your hotel to be there for the weekend went elsewhere. My son wanted to hit golf balls at the driving range, but you had no lefty clubs to borrow, we would have spent a ton of money at that location too just to keep him occupied. We were in for the wedding, when we came down to the front desk to ask where we could put some signs for the reception and no one knew. The only 5 stars I would give would be to: Marlo & Ricardo who went out of there way during the wedding.

Great place. Bar closes early. Two great 18-hole courses: Eisenhower (Ike) and Zaharias (Babe). The Ike is a par-72 course that stretches from 5,662 to 7,221 yards, while the Babe is a par-71 course that ranges from 5,363 to 6,821 yards.

Do not recommend. Nice place but like the front desk guy said “hotel is old” and the air conditioning is so obnoxiously loud we couldn’t sleep. Front desk said to turn the temp higher so the AC doesn’t come on as frequently which doesn’t make sense because then we’re hot. We left the temp at 72 during the day and 70 at night but the AC would come on every 20 minutes and make such loud noises we couldn’t rest. Told the front desk guy and he didn’t really offer any solutions.
