Landlords were okay, when we first got the apartment we were told it had been cleaned and carpets steamed cleaned, we said ok. Well we cleaned it before we moved in and it was pretty nasty. So on that note we steamed cleaned the carpets ourself. And from the black water that was in the steam cleaner. I don’t think they cleaned it at all. So us having to clean it before we moved in like they should have attempted at least I can say we left that apartment cleaner than how we received and then they charge us a cleaning fee when we move out? I don’t know if that’s with everyone but I’ll tell you our apartment was cleaner than anything they could do. They will take care of you if your adamant. They don’t know if somethings wrong unless you tell them. Always took care of our needs. It may be different now but the trash dumpsters were ALWAYS full. The trash company would come around 2-4 in the am and wake us and the baby up every morning. We had great neighbors. Our whole duplex was great so no issue there. Not a bad place. And I’m sure not the worse. The landlords are just money hungry so watch your money.

If you are planning to rent from this company make sure to take pictures while you take your walk-through before moving in. We were great tenants of two years, left the place better than how we got it. Reached out several times to have certain things fixed that was not our doing. Only to be charged for those said things once we moved out. There's plenty more to say, but I'll leave it at this. Very disappointed in this company, coming from clean & honest tenants. This might be why people don't leave the place clean when you don't receive your deposit back for reasons not caused by your doing.

Have been with a Paige Properties for a little over a month and they have been fantastic! From the application/move-in process (from 3 hours away) to getting everything fixed in a timely fashion. They always try to be respectful and prompt. Super grateful for them staying on top and maintaining a well-oiled machine!

The Ladies in the office are very nice, easy to work with & all have a great personality. Management is quick to deal with any problems & Maintenance is swift & very professional. I Highly recommend Paige Properties for all your rental needs! The best rental experience I've ever had! (I've moved a lot & lived in many states)!

Came to these people in desperate need.
I have good rental history, I had all the cash upfront.
However, the old lady that’s in charge of making the decisions spoke to Jamie man, who was never my landlord, and who lied about me. She made a decision based off of what he said
The people that make the decision for you to live here are as crooked as they can come.
You need to be aware of Paige properties. Owner does not care about the place. One of the apartments that we viewed smelled like cigarette smoke so bad.
When I brought this up, the old lady with all the tattoos, who makes the decision on whether you can live there or not, gave me this dirty look.
All because I asked her if we could have a different apartment because that one smelled like cigarette smoke.
I also feel that that was also part of the reason of why she made the decision to not let us move in.
It’s also illegal to make a decision based off of someone’s word who was never my landlord.

I haven't met the management yet, but I've been inside the apartments. I saw a 3 bedroom, 2 bath. All the rooms are on the smaller side. Main bedroom is a bit roomier. Both bathrooms are small but I consider them normal as far as what apartment-size should be. When you enter, you walk into the kitchen. It's open and roomy though not a good place for a kitchen table. Living room is small, but big enough for most furniture without crowding. Overall, it's a nice layout and enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Maybe only 3 people if all are older or are adults. Neighbors were all friendly and plenty of space to park. It says no pets, but I saw some people walking dogs. Ask the manager I guess. Oh, there seemed to be plenty of families around. And it's across from Nelson Wilkes school (1st-2nd).

Great neighbors and hands down one of the best management companies I've ever had the pleasure to deal with! The family that owns/operates this community is friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. The entire staff from the ground up is very responsive to requests. Maintenance is so fast and friendly. Its very rare to find a staff you enjoy visiting with or a management team you look forward to sharing a coke with as you pop in.

5 stars, just because I'm the manager at Paige Properties. Call us and talk to us. We are a family owned and run business in a small town. Are we perfect? No. Do we make mistakes? Yes. Do we have dissatisfied customers? Absolutely. I would suggest though, that if these few reviews were characteristic of sum total of our business dealings, we would no longer be in business in our town of 12,000.
We do not have low income properties, but we do deal with HUD, and HUD does have standards. We have tenants that have been staying with us, without government assistance, for 5, 10, and 15 years (at market prices). They could live wherever they like, and they choose to stay with us.
We have 92 apartments that we manage, several duplexes, and a couple dozen houses- around 130 units. We have been doing this long enough to know that our financial state (a key factor of any BUSINESS), is better when people move in and stay. Tenants moving in and out and in and out, just costs money. We know that a pleasant, boring, relationship between tenant and landlord is a sign that things are going well, and we want that for everyone, knowing that maintenance and communication are big factors in that relationship.
Finally, we don't do tenant reviews, and that may be a disservice to everyone reading these reviews. We've evicted a lot of people, for a lot of reasons. We've been lied to, stolen from, vandalized, cussed out, and blamed for problems that aren't remotely ours. If all our tenants were like that, we'd go back to teaching- but they aren't. Most adults behave as adults, pay their bills, live their lives, and take responsibility for their actions. That, and the Grace of God, are why we're still in business.
