I did not even rent from these people. I refuse to rent from anybody who lets me know from the very beginning they do not value my time or my money. I drove 30 minutes to go there, to find out that even though this is a realtor they don't leave their office to show you the property. And I was to give them my driver's license, drive to the property which was about another 25 minutes away look at the property, and then take the keys back to them. First of all it causes a lot of gas to do that, and that's time. I was in explained, that I needed to get insurance. That is not an issue with me I have had Allstate rental insurance for the last 2 years. I was explained that I had to pick theirs, I could keep mine, I would get a discount off of theirs, but basically theirs was double what mine was and is. I'm sorry but when you let me know with straight out The gate, that I have nothing more to you than the money you can take from me, making me jump through hoops to see an apartment / town home, and your realtor can't even be bothered to leave her office. You're nobody I want to deal with.

The fact that they have a 4.0 rating is laughable. The past reviewers must have left a review shortly after dealing with them for the first time, or the reviews are fake to boost ratings. I have lived in a duplex managed by P&A for 2 years and repairs never get done. I have work orders that are a year and a half old that they don’t care to have fixed. After calling multiple times they either tell me there is nothing they can do about it or they have no idea what I’m talking about because the person that is supposed to handle it quits or gets fired and we have to start over from square one (this has happened at least 3 times). The only reason we are still here is because the rent is cheap. Some examples of the repairs needed: Paint chipping from walls in laundry room due to heat and cheap paint, doors not closing/locking due to missing strike panels. There are more repairs but that is a small example. The first week we moved in I had to threaten legal action to get the AC fixed because it stopped working on a Thursday and they said it would be fixed on Monday and there was a child with asthma here at the time. Funny that they were suddenly able to get it fixed that evening. If you decide to rent under their management, just know you’re not going to get anything from them. I’m still waiting on a phone call from Christina Roccaforte (I think that was her name) from November 2023. But again, I found out 3 weeks ago she doesn't work there anymore.

Spoke to the rental department in office and they were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable in their line of work. I definitely will be recommending Parr and Abernathy to my family and friends! Edit: To give a bit more background to the reason for this review...The owner of my current rental has decided to sell the house. Where most rental management companies would just send a cold and impersonal letter notifying the tenant of the situation the owner of Parr and Abernathy herself not only called me the very day she found out but, also came to the house personally to sit with me and explain the process, address any concerns we had and assure me they would assist in any way they could in finding a new place. This right here should show you EXACTLY how this company operates! ❤️

They had a very rude nasty unprofessional receptionist to answer the phone today . As I was trying to explain to her that my name will be apart of my email she rudely cut me off abd kept speaking over me. Do to her rudeness I was turned off to do business with a place that would employ a rude disrespectful receptionist. Than she started to act bipolar and try to act nive telling me to have a good day after she kept cutting me off just rude unprofessional and ignorant . Periodt .
