I’d like to take a moment to recognize Shannon Plessel for her exceptional support during a very difficult time.

Although we didn’t meet under the best circumstances, I want to sincerely acknowledge how incredibly helpful she was when I was feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and taken advantage of. Before going into the details, I want Shannon to know just how deeply her help impacted me.

The past two and a half years have been incredibly challenging. In 2022, I lost my father to suicide—just one day before Father’s Day. That loss sent me into a spiral I struggled to recover from. By 2024, I was at risk of losing my home to foreclosure. By the grace of God, I was able to keep it. I made a promise to both God and my father that I would do better for myself and take better care of my home.

Leading me into the issue I ran into;

One of the major concerns with my home was a leak in the windows that was causing structural damage. I was told that window maintenance was the homeowner’s responsibility. So when sales representatives came to my door offering new windows, I saw it as an opportunity to keep good on my word to take better care of my home and made the decision to move forward with financing them. I was assured the company would communicate with my HOA and that I could keep the sun screens I had just recently purchased.

On the day of installation, Shannon arrived—and unfortunately, our introduction was not ideal. I discovered that the HOA had NOT been informed of the window project as promised by the company. Thankfully, Shannon was there to witness the situation firsthand, and I genuinely believe she was meant to be there that day. What began as an exciting day turned into a nightmare, but her presence was a true blessing.

Shannon stepped in with professionalism and care. She educated me on the proper process of moving forward with home renovations -although the windows are the homeowners responsibility, she let me know we still have to submit an ARC form for approval , she communicated with the installers, and helped me begin the work of resolving everything retroactively. Without her guidance, I would have been completely lost. Her support, patience, and willingness to help made an overwhelming experience far more manageable.

I truly believe my dad sent her that day, because I would not have been able to get through this without her. Shannon, thank you for everything. I’m deeply sorry for any trouble I may have caused—it was never my intention. Your kindness and support meant more to me than you know.

I unfortunately encounter a frustrated experience with Kathy Wood. First, she was to update me on a matter that she was working on for me. instead, I had to call her to ask for a follow up. When she delivers the information, it was clear to me that the information was not accurate, so I ask a follow up question to learn more on how she came up with that number. It was evident that her review was incomplete, when she finished explaining and it was my turn to speak, I point out that she only reviews a portion of the issue, and she need it to go back farther. Rather than be accountable to her mistake she mumbled some words and hang up on me.

Katy Wood demonstration herself as a very unprofessional and disrespectful PDS HOA Management & Accounting Company employee.

I hope she stops that behavior towards clients and holds herself to a higher standard of care.

I called back; Auburn took my call and picked up Kath’s slack and figured it all out in a timely , and respectful manner. So grateful for her assistance!

My experience may not reflect the typical resident experience; with that said, in the last 1-2 years, there has been an improvement to warrant a higher rating from 2 to 3 stars. From landscaping to playground upkeep and maintenance, it has been a roller coaster for over a 2-3 year period due to contractor challenges for mine and my neighbors immediate common areas. Most recently, landscaping has improved, and updating the community entrance signage was a great touch.
I abandoned using the playground over two years ago with my son and grandson due to insufficient upkeep and maintenance. Although this may have been addressed, and I understand that vandalism and other factors, like the weather, may affect desired outcomes, it should still have been addressed in a timely manner. My most recent interaction with Patrick at the PDS office, was stellar, and it was added to this rating.

I've recently had to communicate with Patrick and Liz, due to an erroneous final demand for fines and fees mistakenly sent to us. He dealt with it with courtesy and professionally, and most importantly, swiftly. The only reason that this was not a 5 star review was because of the error in the first place.
