I had a frustrating experience with Progressive Insurance after hitting a deer. While the representatives I dealt with—Jefferson Haynes, Steven Turner, and Bessie Bennett—were friendly and professional, the actual claim resolution left me deeply disappointed.

Despite having comprehensive coverage, the payout was far from sufficient to repair my car. They covered the bare minimum, refusing to pay for essential repairs like my headlight and windshield. I expected better support from my insurance provider, especially when dealing with damage to a vehicle they insured.

While their customer service was courteous, the lack of adequate compensation makes it difficult for me to recommend Progressive to others. If you’re looking for reliable comprehensive coverage, I’d advise exploring other options.

I have had policies with Progressive for 15+ years. We received a letter that our roof needed to be replaced or our home policy would not be updated. There were zero issues with the roof; but the age of the roof was an issue with the company. We replaced the roof a week later. Provided the receipt and picture proof asked for and were told that wasn't good enough. Talked to several customer service agents with no help. We moved all policies to a new company and actually got better and less expensive home insurance through the new company. When I called to cancel the agent was surprised to hear I was changing companies since I had been there for years and was such a "valued customer".

Absolutely pissed off!!! You would think that calling and talking to a human being would be better in filing a glass claim instead of using an app, just in case you have questions. I was dead wrong!!!
They were going off a deductible of a canceled policy number that I never gave them in the first place. Then they didn't ask, for an estimated date of damage, like i was told they were supposed to by another agent; they wanted a date. They apparently used a date against me, and because I now have a zero dollar glass deductible on my new policy, they are reverting me back to a $500 deductible on a policy that is not longer active.
When filing the claim, it gave me an option to set up a repair date, it did not say anything about wait until you are approved.
Took 8 days from the time of filing my claim to finally getting an answer of rejection, they don't respond timely to your calls or messages, yet you are supposed to drop everything when they contact you.
Multiple things told by multiple people, no consistency.
The best part is they told me that I could get it replaced out of pocket for $375, yet they want me to pay a $500 deductible?
Worst claims experience ever!!!!

Worst experience ever!!! The representatives refuse to return calls and lie to you. I had a rental for a certain period and they told me they extended the time being that my car was still being repaired. I Was charged for every day past the initial date. The rental company wasn’t updated on the extension and I had to cover 100%. Weeks passed before body shop received any information from progressive although I was being told differently…. Progressive is horrible save your money shop elsewhere.

So me and my girlfriend decided to put me on her insurance to bundle. Progressive told us that to add me it would be $140 for the remaining of the insurance 6-month period which is one month to add me period they also told me that when the policy renews the next month it would still be $140 extra a month for me to be on her plan bundled together. A day later they updated it in the system after I confirmed with them on the phone before I canceled my old insurance and try to upcharge it $600 and an extra $150 than what they told me a month after next month so I took myself off the policy and now they're still trying to charge my girlfriend an extra $350 a month because I live in a house with her and I'm not a driver completely screwing over her original policy terrible insurance I wouldn't recommended to nobody

THE WORST EVER! I've been waiting months on my settlement case been closed for over a month. My representative tells me every week my payment should be hitting my account on Friday and when the day comes I don't have my payment and she's out for the weekend so I have to wait til Monday to get another lie. I pay faithfully and I don't feel appreciated or like an priority.

Progressive Insurance keeps raising my rates every time so I'm shopping around for new auto, home and motorcycle insurance. For example, my auto insurance for 2 older vehicles was $600 ish 3 years ago. Now it's $1,000! Outrageous!

Is a joke! Claim was closed, but the repair company has yet to look at the vehicle ( they didn't even know they had the vehicle). Quinhe James does not answer the phone, does not respond to voicemails, and doesn't call back. You have to call back to back multiple times to speak to her.
