Ms. Lori (the manager) is EXTREMELY rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Today I called to make a complaint that the plumbers sent were taking my father's tools without his permission in order to fix an unsanitary water leak (wipes, toilet paper, and dirty water), she gave me no moment to explain. She began yelling and stating it is my father's fault for not allowing the plumber access to our electrical outlet (which was not true! Plus, there is an electrical outlet right outside the building technicians and maintenance workers use.) After about 3 minutes of hearing her yell, I was finally able to tell her that the plumbers had taken my father's things without permission (and that I had pictures!). She finally was quiet and all she said was there's nothing she can do.

Please, if you can, save yourself and choose a better management team.

I have lived in my unit almost 5 years and have never had an issue. I work with Christina and she has always been kind, helpful and understanding. The team including Kim was also very understanding during COVID. Any repair issues in
my unit have been addressed in a timely manner. The owner is also a really great. 5 stars from me.

I lived in a property that was managed by Kim during two separate occasions. Its not surprising to come on here and see so many negative comments about her and her work ethic. What surprises me is that she is still employed by Properties West given the way she treats tenants and the negativity she brings to the company.
As I said the property I lived in fell into her management after two separate sales of the property. On both occasions Kim was unprofessional, rude, condescending, and would outright harass us. Every single communication with her was hostile because of the tone Kim chose to take with us. I know Kim has the etiquette and skills to speak to people in a respectful manner, because I witnessed her do so- she just fails horribly at doing so with people of color. Reviews left by others further prove my point.
Please, if you decide to work with this company, protect yourself and don't be afraid to speak up. They will try to get away with what they can.

Working with Property West Management Company has been one of the best renting experiences. This management company respects your privacy, and simultaneously is responsive when needed.

We all know that landlord who gets everything fixed immediately, but the price you pay is unannounced visits, and them all up in your personal life.

You may have also experienced the landlord who is hands off but never responds to your needs.

Property West is professional, kind, responsive, forgiving and easy to work with. This team of individuals truly care about their tenants.

I recommend, and will continue to work with this company.

Be careful, they will try to charge you for every little thing just to get your deposit. Charged almost $2,000 for carpet and $850 for painting. The funny part is, every time I had an issue, they’d always have their handymen doing the work. Now, they want to use companies to fix the apartment? Like, you guys always send the guy Jim and he finds handymen for the job. Plus, the painter too. It’s a straight robbery. Plus, Kim is rude. She will talk over you when you’re trying to get some simple answers. If she can’t be patient then she should try another profession because dealing with people is definitely not a strong characteristic she has.

I met with Janette one of there property managers. She was very nice and knowledgeable. I hope to get a rental through this company. I know I will be in good hands. All the rentals I viewed were immaculate and very clean.
