I own residential rental properties in several areas of the country. I have learned from experience the value of a good property manager and that they are few.
Jennifer Handler, owner of "Property Handlers" is one of the best I have ever been associated with. I contacted her long distance in 2015 when I had identified a new construction DR Horton home to buy. She had the opportunity to represent me as my realtor and property manager and earn her commission on both. However, after visiting the property she said don't buy it. Her reason, the lot was next to the runoff pond creating some undesirable aspects as to future value and rent ability.
Jennifer passed up an opportunity on a sure commission in an effort to help me find a better investment.
She had my best interest in mind and this is hard to find!
Since then we have bought several properties using Jennifer's advice and guidance. Each time Jennifer has handled every aspect of getting the property ready to rent and quickly finding desirable tenants. Once occupied she has proven to be pro-active, hi-energy and smart in dealing with any issues. I am provided every month with an accounting of each property and deposit into my bank.
