My husband Co signed for a loan for someone. This was nearly 11 years okay. Had no idea that the person never followed through. Now in 2016 they decide they want to sue us. My husband just had surgery and this is very stressful, after all these years they come at us like this. We have had no contact at all with them since 2006, we have limited income, but they didn't bother to contact us. Just serve us. Will never Co sign again.

I contacted the Rancho Santa Fe Thrift & Loan to see if they offered any options for consumers. The conversation was very brief as the salesman told me there were no options other than commercial lending. I tried to get some more information but was told that mortgage and auto loans were not available at this particular thrift and loan association.

I saw on Yelp that some people received auto loans through a dealership from this bank but it doesn't seem that is possible anymore.
