EDIT: their response is they told us this, but they did not mention it took them like 1-2 months to respond to our constant emails about it. we were also told by the lead of HOA to contact them.

The incompetence of this entire management is downright appalling, you should all be embarrassed by how awful you are as people. You are literally managing a building that PEOPLE AND ANIMALS LIVE IN. Have some sympathy and do your job for once. What are you guys being paid for, to sit on your butt and do absolutely nothing? I have never felt so much anguish and anger towards housing management before and you know it must be real bad through the ocean of awful landlords in LA.
We are constantly having issues and NO ONE ever responds. No matter how many emails or phone calls we leave, even when we mention that we literally have people BEING HOSPITALIZED because no one is responding to our renovation needs to fix the HVAC system. If you don't even care about the people or the building itself, then we might as well just go about the things we need to do.
The only good reviews are from people who work within the management and people associated with it. How embarrassing that you have to fake your own reviews because you suck so bad that no one would ever say a kind word about the services here. Couldn't be me! 💅

Real Property Management South of San Fernando Valley is the fourth property management company I have worked with in my 15 years on the board (10 years as a president of HOA).
Describing my experience with RPM, I should note that, from 2019 to this day, our HOA has no regrets or doubts in our choice of management company. RPM deserves full trust as it has demonstrated a high level of responsibility, dedication and responsiveness to the needs of the community over the years. The head of the company George Golovin has an extensive experience in the field of property management. He's knowledgeable, resourceful, and always responsive in emergency situations. All of the above distinguishes RPM from other management companies.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. I cannot emphasize enough my recommendation to avoid them at all costs. One of their main downfalls is that they are absolutely impossible to get a hold of. I live in a small condo building and multiple issues have arisen that have needed urgent care and attention. Even after multiple calls, voicemails, emails, calling the ‘emergency’ number we will regularly not get any response back. A recent example involved a leak with severe water damage in the building, the management company could not be reached quickly, came two hours later and appeared to give no care or concern and had no plan. We are now worried that the damage is beyond what it would have been had swift action been taken. Due to these concerns we reviewed their contact and learned that there are several responsibilities they fail to do (timely repairs, monthly walk throughs with reports, etc). Tenants are left to problem solve completely on their own and are left scrambling in situations that involve the property management company. Is it a coincidence that the only two good reviews on google are employees/family?

This management company took over our building in May of 2024. They do not respond to maintenance requests, they have committed billing errors each month, and they have never answered the phone or responded to voicemails.

I have had the displeasure of working Mr. Golovin, the owner of Real Property Management South SFV, for just over 2 years now. Mr. Golovin is not someone deserving of your business.

Our condo communities’ mailboxes were recently replaced. I was unable to retrieve the new mailbox keys due to being hospitalized, with kidney failure due to Covid. I tried to get a hold of Mr. Golovin as he stated in the mass property email, to make an appointment to pick up the keys.

It is impossible to get a hold of anyone from this company, their voice mail does not allow you to leave a message and they never return emails despite multiple attempts. You cannot even go to their offices since their call box is set up on the same voice system that doesn’t connect you to anyone.

I was finally able to get ahold of Mr. Golovin by obtaining this personal cell phone number and made an appointment.

When I arrived, Mr. Golovin was unmasked and did not social distance himself from me or my 10 year old daughter, who is yet to be vaccinated. When I told my daughter to please take a step back because Mr. Golovin was not masked, Mr. Golovin proceeded to say “Oh its ok because we are outside.”

Needless to say, this was very triggering since I was just released from the hospital just days prior. Against my better judgement I proceeded to say to him, “Hey asshole…..I was just released from the Hospital due to kidney failure from Covid…” Mr. Golovin cuts me off and says “do you speak like this in front of your daughter?”

“Why yes I do in fact.” I replied. “You are not wearing a mask. There is a mask mandate that is reinstated, I just got out of the hospital and now give me my keys.”

Mr. Golovin returned with “I don’t care if you were released from a mental hospital” and proceeded to throw my mailbox keys in a direction I did not see. Incredibly unprofessional.

Mr. Golovin then proceeded with a few more choice words before leaving.
If it had not been for the eyes of my 10 year old, I would not have even found where Mr. Golovin threw my mailbox keys.

There have been problems before with Mr. Golovin in the past but this takes the cake. Not only does Mr. Golovin now think he is a doctor/scientist on what is safe and isn’t, but he has also tried to quote law in the past that he is not licensed to do.

If you value your property, take your business elsewhere.

Do not hire George Golovin at Real Property Mgmt, he is very dishonest person , he uses his owner unlicensed relatives for painting and other repairs and he gets kick backs from his relatives,
we had to fire him and his fake mgmt company. They have 1 star with BBB.
