I opened a new account at this branch recently. After presenting my application and Star ID drivers license that matched my credit report, the representative insisted that I needed my social security card to prove I wasn’t trying to commit fraud - so I had to make an hour drive to go home to retrieve it. Then she asked if I am a “U.S. Person” - which sounded like some kind of fabricated WOKE terminology. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing customer service experience.
