Worked with an agent here who helped me buy a house. Unfortunately, I also used their loan officer and they were unable to get both parties that bought the home on the mortgage. I don’t recommend using them. Find someone that looks out for you and your best interest. After buying this house we noticed a lot of loose screws on doors, light fixtures and fans as well as other little petty things that we found loose that we had to tighten. Find someone you can trust. Edit: not sure why but more recently the realtor we used has continued to harass me and updated our home Zillow profile with pictures.

I worked with Dan Stone at this office, and made a huge mistake of letting him become my tenant from 2019 - 2020. He ruined my rental condo! It was completely trashed after he moved out, and he didn't even let me know an inspection when he moved out and before letting new tenants in. Neither Dan Stone nor his broker provided me with a move-out or move-in inspection. The only person at the office who was ever helpful was Colleen LeClair.

How do you sell a house you own in Springfield, Virginia when you live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? You call Sherry Elphick-Schoske at ReMax ... and she’ll make it happen. Our situation was a difficult one ... we had an uncooperative tenant living in the house ... and a need to get it sold before a specific date for income tax purposes. There were repairs to be done ... and we weren’t around to manage that whole process. She took our late-night phones calls, full of our anxiety about having to make this important sale long-distance ... and calmed us down. Her knowledge of our neighborhood was personalized; she knew exactly what the market would bear ... and got us an offer way above asking price offer that closed more than two weeks ahead of our very tight deadline. She steered us clear of a lot of pitfalls in the process and made it easy for us to sell this house that we had lived in and loved for nearly 17 years! Would I use her again? You bet! Do I recommend her highly? You bet! In fact, if we were in the market again in Northern Virginia, Sherry would be the very first person I would call. If you want the best, use Sherry. She’s a great real estate agent ... and I now consider her a friend.

Phil Bolin was both professional and helpful in helping us secure a second living unit in the D.C. area. The overall process was stressful but dealing with him was smooth.
