My family and I were looking to relocate from CO and found a nice little house here in Mena. We have our own realtor that we have used often but being a new state we needed to work with someone else. So we turned to Remax here in Mena. They made the buying experience very quick and easy, as we were buying it while still in CO.
while I was here visiting the house and working with construction crews, there was a woman by the name of Betsy who works there in the office who made our experience go from good to great. She AND her family helped me find a great little church, filled me in on all the local area and what there was to do, and was an all around amazing person. She even went above and beyond by letting us know about job openings in the area as they came up.all though I did not work directly with her during the purchase, she made our experience exceptional. I definitely recommend Remax and if you have time. say hi to Betsy.

Luke (and Dee-Dee) Alston is definitely the most ethical real estate agent I have dealt with over the last 35 years of buying and selling properties. I have no reservation recommending him if you are looking for property in Mena or the surrounding areas.

LeAnn was very nice and knowledgeable, however, she missed our appointment, which was partially my fault. She sent a text at 10:00 am to confirm our appointment at 2:00. I was in church & didn't see the text until 2:00 when we we're at the property. I called her and she was very quick to get there, but being it was 20 minutes from town it was still a bit of a wait. Also, later I texted her some questions about the property and another property. She did not answer all my questions & the other property was sold before she got back to me. That property sold very fast, so there was no time to lose.

I had read some reviews that made me unsure if I wanted to use remax. But, I had already met Betsy Bush when we first moved to Mena. She was very helpful at helping us find a place to rent until we could buy. We went back to Betsy when we were ready to buy. She introduced us to Kevin Smallwood and I don't see how they could have done any better of a job. Betsy handled many things I didn't know about or have time to take care of. They were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly all the way through. If you are unsure about Mena Remax, don't be. They are wonderful to work with.

We would recommend Deedee of the Alston Team. She is knowledgeable, responsive, and great at answering questions. We very much enjoyed her recommendations of the area (coffee shop, state park, etc.) If the opportunity presents, we would like to work with her again.

I rented from remax for 2 months before having to move out because of financial problems. They refused to give my deposit back using every excuse they could from the house smelling bad to not mowing the yard. I think I wouldnt have minded if they werent so rude but they really showed they dont care about the people they rent to. They only care about money. Beware.
