I would recommend Roofing Force for any roofing job you might want done. They are honest, reliable, professional, polite, quick, and extremely thorough!
If I could, I would give George, Bernardo, and his crew Ten [10] out of Five Stars!
Here’s why:
A little history, because this is what the professionals at Roofing Force had to fix:
A person, (we had considered them a friend), who originally constructed our back porch back in July did such a bad job of the roof, it leaked. We called them to come and fix it as soon as we discovered this. They took more than two months to come and even look. When they did, all they were prepared to do was pipe a little silicone around some screws on our house roof - but not on the porch roof they had installed - and then tried to blame our house roof for the leaks and tried to sell us a whole new roof at which point, my husband saw the person off of our property. We were by this point done with this person, and my husband told them so. Though I do have to say, their employee at the time did fantastic work, and everything they did turned out perfectly. The porch roof, of course, still leaked.
Two days later, the first person showed up on our property again, STILL wanting to sell us a ‘new roof’ on our house – to which they were seen off the property once more by my husband.
Why would we allow this person to do the house roof, when they could not fix a 15 ft. x 20 ft. porch roof, which THEY had built?! Also, I think I would definitely have noticed if my house roof leaks 😉
Meanwhile:
We had to buy a powerful ventilation fan to try to dry out the insulation the person had talked us into putting under the metal, to no avail. Every time it rained, we had to do it again, and again…
Present Day:
After calling Roofing Force out, we found out that our house roof has shingles under the metal – so is NEVER going to leak. We also discovered that the first person had used the wrong grade of metal, (and BTW the wrong color too), for such a shallow slope as our porch is, (3/4 inch drop at most), had failed to install flashing between the house roof and the porch roof, had failed to install roofing foam in the gaps, had failed to install butyl tape between all of the metal panels, had failed to install the gutter correctly, had failed to use the correct insulation – which was by that point completely ruined and still soaking wet as well as covered in black mold – and the porch frame was not even square! Because of this the guys had to do all kinds of extra work to make metal that was square fit onto a frame that was not – in any way, shape, or form – square.
At this time, I will tell you that we were charged by the first person for quality/correct materials, but that was – obviously by this point – NOT what we received.
So, Roofing Force installed the correct grade of metal, with an anti-condensation coating on the underside. They removed the offending ‘insulation’. They installed the missing flashing and butyl tape. They installed a new, correct gutter, (the other had fallen off with the first screw they took out when they started taking off the roof). They installed roofing foam in the gaps at the end of the roof. Roofing Force also gave us as much discount as they possibly could, since we had endured so much stress and extra expense due to the original person’s botch-job. And they did all of this professionally and correctly in a fraction of the time, (2 and ½ hours), it had taken the first person, (2 days to do half of the work Roofing Force did), on the same section.
Roof is now the correct grade and does not leak! Gutter will no longer fall off or fill with leaves – something the first person assured us would ‘never happen’ with their, apparently ‘homemade’, gutter, and yet it did – since we are now able to use standard leaf guards, which we couldn't even fit into the other gutter. That first gutter’s opening was so narrow it was nearly impossible to get your hand in there to clear leaves without injury, and if you did you got your hand stuck or ripped to shreds.
