Rossi enterprises owns the Creamery downtown and they are planning to remove the remaining parking lot next to the Tortilla Flats location. A couple years ago they removed the falling parking lot eliminating where customers can park for free to do business at the Creamery which has not been good for business for people that need parking. Now I want to remove the only parking lot they have and they want to put 36 apartments on the property instead. This is ridiculous and absurd considering that people that pay rent to do business at the Creamery now they're going to lose their only parking for their customers.

Rossi has made some bad decisions about other properties such as the Fremont theater and removing the theaters next door to the Fremont theater which is also a horrible idea. He's done things to the old historic motel that has been gutted when it was a historical landmark and it's been sitting vacant for over 30 years but I can tell you this decision about removing the parking lot over the Creamery is ridiculous. The downtown is not for living it's for business and if people are paying rent to do business there, not putting apartment complex on their need of customers for free parking. This is a horrible idea and they need to terminate this plan because it's a bad for the the businesses that are there the customers that want to do business there is all going to be gone. I hope the businesses will vacate terminate their leases and do business somewhere else if this plan goes through.
