We have LOVED our time living at Edgewater Apartments (Oconomowoc)! This has been a lovely home for us. We've enjoyed getting to know our neighbors. Many have lived here for years, are well connected, and know the community. Our property manager Becky has been courteous, kind, and a joy to get to know. The maintenance team is responsive and does great work for the times we've requested assistance. We would highly recommend Edgewater / Lakeside, the neighbors here, and the whole family of Sawall owned and managed properties!

P.S. Living here through the seasons has provided multiplied blessings ~ the beautiful view of Lake Fowler, the boat launch to get out on the water, and the yard and common area for conversation with neighbors and friends!

DO NOT RENT from these con artists! Bought our apartment building, raised rent without any improvements, harassed our entire building constantly for weed smells that AREN'T THERE. It smells like mildew in our hallway, all day every day. They refused to update our lease and we paid a pet deposit for a pet we don't have for 8 months. Sold the apartment complexes and never updated leases. Left everything an absolute mess. Avoid AT ALL COSTS.

I've lived in their Tower Apartments for years now. It's been perfect for me. The rent, utilities that are included with the rent, and the attached garage makes this one of the best places in town to rent unless you want to pay 1200 for a 2 bedroom.
My maintenance requests have been fulfilled the next business day. Our manager is a super friendly old guy that takes good care of the lawn etc. The landlords are quick to respond and have been very helpful and friendly.
I doubt folks in other buildings are as lucky, but all of my neighbors are incredibly quiet. I don't hear them. I wouldn't have lived here for this long if any of these things were different.
I've had nothing but good experience living here.
This complex stays full for a reason!

We rented from Sawall Properties the last couple of years and are pleased with our experience. My husband and I found their Spruce Court (Greenfield) location to be quiet and conveniently located. The couple maintenance issues we had were resolved quickly. We found the management team to be helpful and easy to work with. Ive had the opportunity to live at both Lakeside and Edgewater Apartments in oconomowoc. Both experiences were wonderful and very affordable. The maintenance team and the ownership really care about the respective needs of the tenants. I highly recommend the living options they have to offer.

I personally know many tennants from a couple of their properties and I can tell you firsthand that each and every person I have met are proud to call it their home and are grateful for the opportunity they have to live at a Sawall property.

As part of downsizing in our older years, we sold our home 3 years ago and moved to a unit in the Kennedy Apartments in Janesville. Our unit has the floor plan we wanted, and we have not missed our home at all. Whoever designed the complex knew how to create apartments with a minimum of walls between units. The result is a quiet place to reside. Scott, our manager, has been nothing but kind and efficient in responding to our needs. The workers are great and congenial. It is difficult to imagine anyone giving this place anything but a 5 star rating unless they are, for some reason, those who don’t care about doing basic care of their units. We feel very fortunate to be able to live in this wonderful place, with considerate neighbors.

We lived at an SPM property in Oconomowoc from Feb to Nov before we moved out of state. We had a very good experience while we there, making some good friends. The unit was in good shape when we arrived. They noticed a cosmetic issue on the stove during our initial walkthrough and by the time we moved in they had put in a new stove. Throughout our stay we had a few minor maintenance issues, but when we had them, they were handled quickly and professionally. We found the online property portal easy to use to interact with SPM, and the property manager was helpful whenever we had questions. The move out process was clear and seamless. Thanks to SPM for a good experience.

We had lived in their Kennedy apartments for 6 years. When we moved out instead of getting our deposit back, we got a bill. They claimed they had to clean the entire apartment and remove 1 entertainment stand which they claimed cost $300, we were told that the floors were going to be replaced and not to worry about cleaning them, repair $135 worth of drywall, replaced 2 doors (is correct) that took an hour and a half, anyone who has replaced a door knows it takes maybe 15 min, and $70 to replace patio door blinds that were left on the floor in the hallway closet. Also if you dont give them an EXACT 2 month notice they will make you pay for time equaling 2 months even if you're not going to be living there. Then the maintenance guy (scott) calls and asks several times if we were going to be there until term was up. YES... we were made to pay we will take our time moving. Also if you dont move your vehicle during winter even with snow removal being part of his responsibility, they will NOT remove the snow around your vehicle or even give notice that they are going to be there so you can make sure your vehicle is moved, so you have to take care of it yourself even though in the lease it says it's their responsibility. These people are money hungry and dont care at all about the people that live there even if you were a good tenant. They only do things because they HAVE to by law. If they didnt, I believe they would be slumlords. Due to all this even with a $850 deposit they claim we owe them... such bs... save yourself and rent from someone else
