Garbage customer service. I’m with USAA which is a bank co-op with SDCCU. I walk in and there is one teller available. She is working on paperwork clearly sees me then continues working. I said “are you available?” She slowly responded “yeah I can take you.” I get to the teller and ask her to please withdrawal money that exceeded the atm limit. While I was talking to her she was chomping and slopping her gum with her mouth open, like a cow. rude and disgusting. She ran my card and said it was declined. I asked for further clarification she just said call my bank. I call my bank with her there and go over everything. The bank asked her what she was doing she said cash advance. She ran it again and before she ran it she said I can o ly run it twice. She then showed me the receipt which said insufficient funds.y bank rep was on the phone and told her I had plenty to use and that she was incorrect. My bank rep asked her if she did cash advance or debit cash advance which is different. She said debit. So my bank rep adjusted my limit and said there is no reason why you can’t give my client the money. The teller said the two times she spent 5 seconds working was all she could do for the day. I asked for another option she said try another bank as she chewed on her gum like a damn cow. I told her I want to speak with the manager. And guess what?!? She was the manager. So if this lazy cow is running the show at this branch don’t expect any customer service what so ever.

Joshua was so helpful but this bank sucks! The manager Rosemarie decided I should not be accommodated for a replacement card even tho I expressed I have a disability effecting my circumstance. Rosemarie should not be over seeing people since she isn’t kind enough to accommodate people with disabilities. I am shocked and I won’t bank here ever again. Go elsewhere. I closed my account.

I have a love/hate relationship with SDCCU.

Carlsbad Branch is the hate.

Encinitas branch is the love.

Much better service here, so if you’re partway between the 2, do yourself a favor and come here instead.

Closed at 4:20 it says 5 on the mf door, it says 5 in the maps app, and it says 5 on thier google search. I'm pissed they are closed early. 1 star for not adhering to their own standard hours

I'm really frustrated with them. I've banked with them for years and the last year has just been a horrible experience. Hours 10-4 really? How am I supposed to do my banking? I work for a living.
Now trying to call them and you can't even get ahold of a human without entering account information. Just feels so corporate and dispassionate. I guess I'm in the market for a different bank or credit union.

They do try hard. But I really don't want to be asked "how's your day goin?" and "got any plans for the weekend?" every time by a twenty-something. I'd just like a professional transaction minus the trite chit chat. I'm not there to visit and, as an adult, I feel a little put off by the overly-friendly obviously scripted stuff. A little more professionalism and a little less "fluff?"

Great group of people who make you feel like a star each time you walk in. I have never gone to the branch as often as I do now that SDCCU has opened a branch in PQ. Their involvement with PQ locally has touched the community; PQ Banners, PQ Fiesta and thinking locally! The branch is now apart of our community, not just a business.
