Beware. Don’t bank here. An employee made a serious oversight on our account and they won’t admit fault (of course) and will not allow the account to be closed. When trying to resolve this matter all they give is vague answers and promised phone calls are not returned. One employee will tell you one thing then another says “Sorry, they shouldn’t have told you that”. The toll free number it’s just as bad. We inquired about a letter they sent us but no one can find it in their system even though we have a copy of it! They say sent another letter after that one, which was never received; then found out they sent it to the wrong address! When we asked for the letter to be sent to the proper address the employee @ the toll free number refused to answer our request and still the letter has not been received. They still have not returned many promised phone calls. Bank manager promised a phone call back in November 2024; it is now almost February and still no phone call. Unbelievable. How they stay in business is baffling. This business is obviously not operating according to it’s regulators rules.

SDCCU has the LOWEST customer satisfaction scores for any CU in SD country and at the PB branch they really let it show and embrace it.

If you don't want to trust your money to clowns, bank with MissionFed instead.

Went to take care of a little matter and I stood in line for about 10 minutes. Then once the teller a hispanic female in a yellow blouse or whatever this thing had on to the right, after she finished with the customer she looked at my like I don't exist...and of course my face just turned another level she sitting there combing through her hair, like whatever pretty much like she didn't want to deal with me or she just cater to the certain ones... Irritating Girl Bye!!! You just a teller!!!! I wish I would of gotten her name.I am so glad so so glad I don't bank with this establishment!!!! I just use their ATM. Nothing Else!!! Othe than that someone one pleasant greeted me when I walked in. I belong to a Credit Union but they were closed at the moment.

I have always gone into the branch after using their teller to take a $20 bill in exchange it for $20 and quarters. I don't have an account at this branch but my mother does. Went in the other day to do this and the gentleman refused two exchange a $20 bill for $20 and quarters. Really What horrible customer service why would you ever go to this branch. Left a message for the branch manager or the district manager to give me a call and never received one. No wonder they have three stars

Worst credit union I've ever dealt with. Absolutely terrible customer service. The branch manager is really bad. The bank app really sucks. I've been charged crazy high fees multiple times. I would never advise anybody to go here. I can't believe how bad it is. All the people except 1 are extremely rude. California Credit Union is way better.

I think it's time for me to switch banks, every single SDCCU location i been to the arms never work. More than 70% of the time they aren't working.

It seems like Karina makes up rules to her convenience. Last year they wouldn't exchange 20's for a $100 for me. "As of a couple months ago" they stopped exchanging bills for quarters, even though I did exactly that no more than 3 weeks ago. I would come here at least twice a month, paying the $3.99 fee or w/e it is to use their ATM, but now I have no need to give them that money (according to Karina) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you’re thinking, “hey, maybe I should open an account with a credit Union” do not open an account with SDCCU. I have had too many negative experiences with this bank where I will be pulling all my money out and open and account with another credit Union. The most recent unfortunate experience is losing a dispute… I disputed two charges since my wallet got stolen and the dispute I filed with BOA was successfully disputed while SDCCU lost the dispute and ultimately failed to protect me as a customer. I’m done with SDCCU!
