5 star shout out to Mr. Barrantes (and his boss)who was patient and took the time to help us, answer our questions and update my dads info as well and let us know policy changes that were coming in the next month for us to be aware of future changes. I got this office at 8:30am and there was nobody in line. I scanned the QR code posted at the door and got my check in barcode. Once the door opened, a security guard helped me to scan the code. Very helpful gentleman. I waited for 5 minutes and finished my application at 9:15am. Very quick and professional.

Went to the office and it was full. If you didn’t have an appt. you were asked to leave as they didn’t have enough staff. I scheduled an appt. However, so many windows are empty, why aren’t these occupied so they can service the walk ins.

I walked into SS office without appt this Tuesday morning (7/9/24)at 9:00 am (opening time) and was seen within 35 minutes..Ms.Lopez was exceptional and so knowledgeable.
She went out of her way answering all my questions and concerns as I am applying for Medicare. Ms. Lopez is an excellent state employee very courteous and friendly

Miss Castro and the lady who was on window 4 really helped answer my questions. I was stressed trying to figure out documents for my grandmother they were able to assist me and answer all my questions. I went the day before and the lady that attended me was terrible and didn't know anything and even gave me incomplete forms it wasn't until miss Castro stepped in that I was able to get some clarity. Thank you Miss Castro.

I'm very impressed. At the entrance, you'll see their security guard Redding, he's the nicest guy ever, he's kind and knowledgeable and willing to guide you through the process if you don't know what to do. He first provides you with a face mask and then proceeds to help you out. I got my ticket to wait for my turn, and in the meantime, I filled out both applications, mine and my son's (I'm replacing both our social security cards), which took me less than 10 minutes, and as soon as I finished, my number was called. The lady who helped me was nice and worked fast. I am more than happy and will come to this location in the future when needed. I don't really know what's going on about the bad reviews I read yesterday, I was very skeptical to come here because of that, but I'm glad I did. I live in North Hollywood and the Van Nuys branch is closer to me, but I decided to drive longer and visit here, I'm glad I did. It took me longer to come from home than to leave the office. I was out in 20 minutes.
Also the office is pretty and clean.
