Was excited to view the 1 bedroom in a pet friendly complex. Irritated that I took time off of work and nobody showed up or called to cancel despite several email reminders about the appointment. I did get a chance to see a sign posted on the leasing office door stating that there is currently a ‘transition’ in management, but details how tenants can still pay their rent. Encountered a few current tenants who all advised that I pass this place up. After waiting around for twenty minutes, looking at an over flowing garbage can in the lobby and rows of open mail boxes which should have been locked….I think I’ll take the tenants advice.

I have been a tenant of Soji apartments since 2021. And let me just say it has gotten worse over time. Earlier this year, I discovered we were being overcharged for utilities. I brought it up to the property manager Diana‘s attention and she was nothing but helpful and trying to remedy the problem. She found out that the apartments were not 650 ft.² and they have been overcharging everyone for utilities. When she filed a complaint with the housing board, Trion properties fired her for being a whistleblower. She was the only helpful management we have had at this apartment complex in the four years that I have lived here.

I have complained about the overcharging directly to try on living in Soji apartments since January of this year, and there has been zero movement even with the previous manager Diana’s help. So I have started to withhold a certain amount of utilities each month. Now they are trying to evict residence who are withholding the overpayment of utilities. Like the cowards they are they had someone put these notices on our doors and leave. With no one being in the office to assist with any questions or concerns. Phone calls don’t get answered and voicemails.

In addition to all of these issues now that they fired Diana, the lobby is never clean trash overflows in the laundry rooms everywhere smells like piss because nobody is cleaning up. Everything has gone downhill.

Do not get returned. Do not move here. The management company try on properties is so unprofessional and unhelpful. Save yourself the hassle. And for my current residence, get a lawyer.

I had the pleasure of working with Diana to secure a renovated unit, and the experience was outstanding. She was incredibly responsive and made the process smooth and stress-free, even going out of her way to assist us on her day off. Diana was attentive to all our concerns, ensuring everything was taken care of before we moved in.

As for the unit itself, while the building is older, it looks pretty good! The courtyard is tidy, and our neighbors are considerate, always picking up after their pets. The neighborhood is friendly, and the environment is peaceful. The pictures accurately depict the units, and so far, we haven't had any issues with pests or bugs. Diana’s care and attention really helped make this place feel like home. I highly recommend Diana for anyone looking for a seamless and positive rental experience.

Don’t apply here. I’ve lived here for 5 years and I can tell you better than a lot of others that live there. Some things to keep in mind: Square foot is actually in the 400s and since they’re charging for 650, they’re committing fraud. They’re in big debt so they’re illegally taxing utilities. Losing/misapplying checks. Trying to intimidate tenants. They unorganized and after you sign the lease you never hear from them again. At least half of us are filing lawsuits. And so much more fraud. It’s not worth it and they will scam you. The turnover rate is so high because of all the issues. Email me if you want more info or receipts to back this up.

Shout out to Diana! She’s genuinely caring and wants to get the people who need a place into Soji. She went out her way numerous times to make sure I did everything I needed to in order to get approved and the keys ASAP. The place is beautiful and has the most peaceful and relaxing courtyard right outside. Animal friendly but also none of the other residents pets are loud or aggressive and you don’t even notice they’re here. Soji even provides little doggy bags in the courtyard so everybody maintains a clean environment. Overall it’s a great fit for me and my family. Thank you Diana, we really appreciate it!

I recently moved into a new apartment at Soji, and I couldn't be happier with the experience, thanks to Diana, the apartment manager. From the very beginning, Diana was incredibly helpful and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was always available to answer my questions and provided detailed information about the apartment and the community. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made me feel welcome and confident in my decision to move here. I highly recommend Diana and the team at Soji for anyone looking for a new place to call home.

Ms. Diana the current property manager here at Soji Apts has been very helpful and instrumental in getting us settled into our new place and we’re so grateful to her for making sure that everything was in absolute working order, clean and move-in ready. Last, but, not least, she’s also helping us to remy a situation we’re currently having regarding our utilities, etc., as well.

Unsafe. Unhelpful management.

As the latest reviews mention, Diana is sweet and upbeat when it comes to signing a lease. Beyond that, however, is apparently where help ends.

I was jumped outside of the building and requested security camera footage from the front. Diana's previous warmth was gone, replaced by cold callousness as she refused to assist - literally pleading the fifth and figuratively telling me to bug off. Diana expressed no sympathy, care, or concern for the beating that took place right outside, and was apparently bothered more by me asking for her help.

Obviously can't recommend. Listen to the other reviews - stay away!
