I have posted here before and have deleted my reviews on account of feeling guilty and wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this place is absolutely rancid. Nobody here is qualified to run an entire community of people. They worked on the plumbing in one building for an entire week and didn't give a proper 24 hour notice each time they'd have to turn the water off, so it was always within a few hours that you had to get anything done that required water. The plumbing is bad. They hardly get to work orders on time. I understand having to help so many people is hard on one person, but that's why you shouldn't have one or two unqualified people running maintenance. The solution is there, you just have to look for it. I wouldn't be surprised if this place were to get shut down or condemned.

The roach infestation is bad and has been bad since we moved in two years ago. No amount of Raid, sticky traps, and pest control helps. No matter how often you do or don't clean, there will always be roaches somewhere. I'm 99% sure this place is full of black mold. My health has steadily declined in the duration of time that I've lived here. Breathing problems, brain fog, and my mental health has gotten worse. Not to mention the shifty landlord special that was done here before new management.

Several months ago we had some heavy rain that caused my room to semi-flood. The carpet was soaked and the solution was only to put sandbags outside my windows. While the sandbag is helping, it's still only a temporary fix, and we haven't heard from anyone since. The window itself is weak and it's as if the glue is nearly worn out. There's a lot of give. The maintenance man checked it out and promised he'd get some sealant to fix it, but never fixed it. It's easy to give these people the benefit of the doubt when they're nice to your face, but it becomes increasingly difficult to not get frustrated when they do not fulfill their duties.

This place is actual trash and not worth the $8000 they get out of us every year. It's terrible, do not live here.

Management is the worse, the apartments are nasty and unprofessional, the whole place is unprofessional and ran down, the apartments used to be worth living at few years ago when management was actually good, and now they hire some people that shouldn’t even be managing anything, all they do is start problems and stay on you all the time, and to have a pool that hasnt been opened since we actually had good management and now the pool not being opened or touched for years now. its not worth coming here or applying for an apartment here, theres been many things happen here, and management “cant do anything about it” like talk about “fake advertisin” to this place they make it seem like flowers and rainbows but its really not

I’ve lived here for going on 6 years now and since the new owners and especially the new property manager took over I have seen massive changes being made. The apartments are more quiet now and the people moving in are more personable! Through old management I was never able to get things fixed (like my AC that was out for 3 summers straight). But since they took over every work order I have put in have been answered and fixed almost immediately. I’m really looking forward to seeing what this property can become!

Not what we thought it would be living here roaches are bad have to constantly ask for something to get done let alone the lady in the office is starting to be rude and show up late to the office we can't even go outside to talk to the maintenance people like humans let alone you cant even get in touch with the original person over the apartments let alone try to blame you for something you didn't do or have control over I'm just so over the disrespectfulness u get treated the Way you treat others sorry not sorry

Hi! I moved into the Southbrooke Apartments four months ago and this is honestly one of the most quiet and peaceful apartments I’ve ever lived in. The landlord is extremely compassionate and answers quickly to any concerns I might have , along with their maintenance team being extremely quick to respond and always does an excellent job. Also they have an onsite washing area that makes my life so much easier. I will definitely be referring friends who are looking to live!

The folks at the leasing office were super friendly and made moving in a total breeze. Whenever I needed something fixed, the maintenance team was right on it. Living here is just really comfy and hassle-free.

Lived here for two and a half years. Conditions were less than desirable; the windows wouldn’t open correctly, there was black mold in the bathroom, there were roaches, my closet door wouldn’t work correctly, my closet light went out literally within a week, the rent was outrageous and dubiously bad for the conditions I lived in, and so on. In spite of these complaints, the two and a half years I was here weren’t awful. Even still, if there are other options available, avoid renting here.

Really happy with my apartment The staff are super friendly, the apartment is modern and cozy, and there's a great community feel. It's clean, safe, and conveniently located. Highly recommend! 👍🌟
