Southern independent Bank has been my bank since 2009. 15 years I have been with them and I started with a savings account and a few hundred dollars. Since then they have loaned me the money to build my house, helped me start my business as an LLC, rent safety deposit boxes and a personal checking and savings. I have since moved 2.5 hours away and have no Southern Independent Bank local to me since they are a local bank to Covington County. Even though I am 2.5 hrs away I still use them as my primary bank. I still pay all my bills from SIB accounts and ATM cash locally. If I need something larger they will mail me a check or I can transfer it to a local bank where I keep an account open just for that possible need. My point is, in this day and time, you cant find customer service much any more. Well, SIB operates with first class customer service as their norm. It is just the way they do business. Period. I will always bank with them, no matter where I live. Robbin Northey and Brett Ballard are the best but everyone there has always been such a blessing to me and my family.

Our family has been banking with S I B for over 15 years. The level of service and friendliness at all branches is top notice. S I B has always went above and beyond not for just me but for all customers. 20 years ago there may have been a need for someone to have the bank they used in every big city or small town they visited, but I have never had a single issue. Online banking, atm reimbursement programs, transfers through the app, etc… No need to be attached to a big bank that doesn’t know your name. Would you rather be a file number or addressed by name when someone else deals with your hard earned money? I know we prefer the latter.

Excellent service and staff! Short lines, quick service, minimal fees, but what I like most about this bank is their detailed eye to mistakes, charges, and account issues, they always catch things early and fix them many times before you even know anything happened. My card was stolen one time and they caught it, credited my account, cancelled my card and ordered me a knew one before I even knew it got stolen. Another time I was given the incorrect amount of change and they automatically credited my account the next day. All the staff are super friendly and will help you in any way possible from card issues to loans, this is the bank for you!

They're very quick I never have to wait long great banking services and the tellers are sweet and they learn You by name and I always get lots of suckers or peppermint or candy canes whatever they're having for the current season I love Southern Independent Bank
