I am currently in the process of contesting what I can only at this point assume is fraudulent charges by this hotel. The assistant manager is not responding to my emails and I am being forced to do the work to prove that I paid both booking.com and the hotel for the same room. Abound this hotel while under this management team.

Wow. If you would like to be treated respectfully, I suggest you go elsewhere. When I got to my room, the microwave was missing. Back downstairs, I let the employee who checked me in know, and he said he only had a room available on the first floor, which he knew upon my check in that I do not like staying on the first floor. I asked 'You have no other rooms available in the entire hotel?" He said , "No". I let him know that I will leave then and just get a refund. What do you know? All of a sudden a room was available on a top floor! When I let him know his dishonesty would be noted in a review, he literally shook his head as he looked away and rolled his eyes.
This morning, I phoned downstairs to ask for a late checkout, which in the past, and as a Bonvoy member, has never been an issue. The female employee said to me- excuse me, SCOLDED ME AS IF I WAS A CHILD, "This one time I will do it". When I mentioned I have not had an issue in the past asking for a late checkout, she sternly said, "We don't do that at this hotel".
I can't even... I believe SHS are franchises, individually owned. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable for any front desk hotel employees to a customer. Again, just WOW.
I should have left when I originally stated I would.

No pool. King size bed measured significantly smaller than king size. No extra toilet paper. No housekeeping. Will never return. Just for reference, I'm very easy going and don't expect much, but somehow, this was still a let down.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. We choose this hotel because in the web page said they had pool and they changed for a business room.

On the day of housekeeping, nothing much was cleaned, but they did provide fresh towels.

Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards for comfort and service. In the breakfast they do not offer fresh pancakes or waffles always fresh, don’t have cranberry juice as others hotel. In the nights they don’t have fresh coffee . Its springhill from Marriott please make it better .

So overall this hotel failed in the many basic standard. Please take off the pool from the web. I. Do not would not recommend it.

The Frot desk experience is the worst i have experienced at any hotel, We had three rooms in our party for two days, extended/rebooked one room for an extra day and I asked the front desk as I extended to get the room cleaned. Which they didn't and when I questioned the front desk about it, he calls his manager talking in his native tongue and gives a reason because the room is booked with freinds and family price. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Room was very dirty. Mold everywhere, in the shower, on the AC unit, and in near the toilet. There was also someone else hair in the sink when we arrived. The elevators looked like they have been torn apart. The pool was also closed during our stay despite it being listed as an active amenity.

Very thin walls! Could hear everything in the hallway and in the next room over! Had to call the front desk because the couple was fighting in the room next to us. I will give credit to the front desk person who did reason quickly to our call.

Finally, the AC unit in our room was incredibly loud! Had to turn it off to make it stop screaming.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The mattress in our first room had a deep sag, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We reported the issue after the first night, and our room was changed. However, the second room was even worse—the mattress had an even bigger dip. We reported this issue after the second night, but the receptionist showed little concern and did nothing to resolve the problem.

On top of that, the second room was missing basic items like a desk chair and a digital clock. On the day of housekeeping, nothing much was cleaned, but they did provide fresh towels.

Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards for comfort and service. I would not recommend it to anyone unless these major issues are addressed.

If 0 stars were possible this stay would have earned it. I have Marriott Gold Elite status. I requested a stay, using points, at the Springhill Ashburn location the week of 12/9/2024. Not only was I turned away while Hassan claimed all rooms were "full", there were two guests directly next to me who were allowed to check in. To add further insult, I was requested to go stay at my own expense at some other non-Marriott Inn 5 miles further into Leesburg. None of my travel points used for the stay were refunded. Two weeks later I am still dealing with the headache on getting reimbursed for points. The entire experience has made me reevaluate whether to continue with Marriott at all.
