My girlfriend and I were interested in an apartment listed for $2900 and submitted an application through Zillow. The very next day, Starline raised the price of the listing to $3400, which was no longer within our budget.

Caroline acknowledged that a mistake had been made, but refused to pay us back the $70 that we lost on our Zillow application due to HER MISTAKE. The whole experience with Caroline felt very unprofessional and left me with the impression that she has no idea what she's doing. AVOID.

When I was renting from them Caroline was first rate professional! Always responsive and quick to communicate. Would definitely recommend using them again and I would still be with them but I moved to a different part of CA. It’s been over a year now since I left and Caroline just reached out about a document of mine that was just found tucked away somewhere in my old place and she reached out to find out if it was mine and if I still needed it and I thought that was incredible that she still had my contact info and took the time to reach out and now she’s sending it to me and wouldn’t accept any $ for the postage or time!! I hired Starline Real Estate to help me rent my dad’s condo. Everything was taken care of so quickly which I appreciated. The photos and videos really captured the assets and gave an accurate picture of what was on the property and what it had to offer tenants. A sign and listing went up and was active the next day! Caroline is the ideal professional if you are not just interested in maintaining the status quo -- but want improvements to the status quo. As a long-term resident of 3825 Bluff Place, I have been here for the length of her tenure as apartment manager. When Caroline began, the building had numerous housing violations, and there were leaks in many apartments after heavy rains. She soon had the roof competently repaired. The leaks stopped. Troublesome or delinquent tenants found themselves other places to live. Apartments got needed repairs or upgrades, new hallway carpeting and lighting were installed, as well as, for the first time, security cameras. Seating in common areas was added. Today there is a beautiful, tall locked gate giving access to the rear of the building where previously there was access but no lock and no gate. The parking lot, which consisted of patches of dirt and crumbling asphalt, was gated and paved with concrete. Lighting and security cameras were added here too as was a charging station for electric cars. I have always found Caroline to be personable and professional, quick to answer inquiries and address concerns. Her energy, initiative, wide knowledge of local competent tradespeople and what it takes to successfully manage real estate has made her an efficient and effective manager.

Caroline is awesome! I had been searching for the perfect venue to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday party(all pink bash). I came across Caroline's San Pedro property online and was in awe. I messaged her and she responded quickly. I gave her all the details on what the property was being used for and she was more than happy to accommodate us. After about a week, she wrote up a contract, and I sent her the deposit via Apple Pay to lock in the dates. To be honest I was slightly skeptical since it is so many scams happening on rental properties nowadays. Anyways, everything went as planned, my daughter had a memorable party, place is clean, mansion-size and "princess like".
