Steve Jones has went above and beyond to save me hundreds of dollars on all my insurance needs from home to auto. I just purchased a new home and got a new quote from the insurance company I had been using for years, from one other and from Steve Jones Insurance company, he saved me over six hundred dollars just on my home alone and I thought I better give him a chance on my autos also. After getting quotes from him and two other companies on my autos also, he was able to beat everyone's by a considerable amount that was well worth spending the time I promise!!! Steve has the wrong temperament for the customer service industry. He acts as if the customer is working for him. He says he routinely "checks" coverage to ensure you always have the best policy for your needs. False. I called him yearly and asked about huge premium increases... and he didn't have a clue. He also gets attitude when you question yearly premium hikes. They follow a typical model here, entice you the first year with below market premiums to get you in the door. Look out after, as you will receive yearly hikes in premium for next to no reason. If you take a policy to another provider, make sure you take it all... or Steve will make you pay on any policy which remains under his control. I was a customer for about 6 years. When I removed an auto policy for better, more cost effective coverage...he became sour and difficult to deal with on a remaining homeowner's policy. Buyer beware.

UPDATE 3/7/2018...Steve Jones, unsurprisingly, saw this review and mailed out a cancellation of a current homeowner's policy. I received the letter stating it was due to "DWELLING IS NO LONGER OCCUPIED BY THE NAMED INSURED" The funny thing is Steve tried to say he was going to cancel the policy. I assured him we are still living in the residence, but he took it upon himself to lie to the underwriter. I am in the process of straightening this mess he has created out. He's not very smart to realize I simply have to forward our active utility account bills to the underwriter. Be aware, this is the type of man you are dealing with, if you deal with Steve Jones.
