Stooges Sports Bar - Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

I’ve been to plenty of bar and grills around Beaver Dam, and I usually stick to the same order—a burger with pepper jack cheese, fried onions, ketchup, mustard, and a side of house fries. I know it’s nothing fancy, but I’ve had my fair share of burgers, and I can confidently say that Stooges Sports Bar serves the best one in town.

And if you need proof of how good it is? Just check my photo—I barely remembered to take a picture before diving in. When a burger is this good, waiting just isn’t an option.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Stooges is exactly what I look for after a long day—friendly staff, a laid-back vibe, and a quieter setting that makes it easy to unwind. It’s never too loud, which is a huge plus when you just want to relax and enjoy your meal. The bar has plenty of seating, a single pool table, and a mix of entertainment, including slot machines, a few arcade games, and plenty of flat screens to catch the game.

And while I’m usually a simple guy when it comes to drinks, I have to mention their Bloody Marys, which have been voted the best in 77 square miles by the Wisconsin State Journal. I’ve heard more than once that they’re next-level, and if they live up to the hype, they’re worth a trip on their own.

If you’re looking for a great burger, a strong drink, and a place to kick back without the noise, Stooges Sports Bar is the spot.

Definitely not a fan. Was excited about this place based on reviews. Walked in and sat at the bar. This looks like my kind of place. I was the only person at the bar. No one greeted me, but I could see an employee at the service station. It took several minutes for them to come over. I ordered a beer, and she didn't even say a word...just grabbed my beer and walked away. I know I stick out as an out of towner, but come on. 2 other people arrived at the bar while I was there, and she was friendly as could be to them. I learned a long time ago that you could judge a place based on their bathroom. Well, the bathroom was clean. However, 2 separate towel dispensers were empty, and the $.99 cent soap had been combined with another cheap soap, and the urinal doesn't flush properly. Can't say that I would suggest this place.

This car has strong drinks, a pool table, and delicious fried morsels. I recommend you to to come here and sit outside in their luxurious outdoor patio area and enjoy the small town traffic of Beaver Dam!

This is horrible they are super slow and don’t have a cook we are donzo and they don’t wash the cups ts pmo I going to Culver’s 👎👎👎👎

What a treasure this place is. Just a stunning local bar with gorgeous wood accents and lighting fixtures. Beer so cold it hurts to go down. Tons of TVs playing sports. An attentive and pleasant bartender. You really couldn't ask for much more. 10/10, will come back.

This is a nice local bar with a pretty good selection of food. I had the hamburger which was perfect and my friends ordered a pizza that was quite tasty. We'll definitely go back.

Awesome atmosphere!! Beverages outstanding as the bartenderess. My boyfriend and I bought tshirts and koozies! A definite revisit is planned for the near future. 😀😀😀😀😁

Oh what a fun place! Owner was great. Bartenders were attentive. Drinks were great & atmosphere was great. Will definitely go again.
