I was scared of the IRS and I didn’t know what to do. So I ignored them until I got a call from a Collection Agency. Then, I saw Thelma on tv, I waited 10 years to fix my tax problems. She filed my back taxes and got my debt reduced by half with the Fresh Start Program.

The staff was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable about taxes. I did not realize there was something wrong until 2 years had passed and I received a notice from the IRS about placing a lien on my Home and 10,000 in accrued interest and penalties. When my case was opened, I called and emailed them several times asking for updates and asking for clarification and was never told I was only placed in a temporary hold with the IRS that would only last 2 years. I was told to ignore all notices from the IRS, it was customary and that in 7 years my debt was to be resolved. None of that was true. I learned that type of program has to be updated every two years and it was up to the IRS if you continued to be eligible. When I called the owner to question this, I was told my case is now closed and the " nice-ness" had gone out the window. I was told that was the only program I qualified for. She was saying things that were completely faIse. I have personally consulted with the IRS and learned the information she had given me was not true. Good luck with this company and I hope it doesnt take you 2 years and an addition 10K of debt to find out what I found out. Please do your homework.

I give this company no stars. Thelma advised my husband to not speak to the IRS cause it would make his situation worse. Well she was paid in full and for awhile the letters stopped but low and behold the debt was still there and even greater. Years later we worse than we were before dealing with her. My advice would be just call the IRS and make a payment plan cause dealing with them you will end up paying anyway. And this review is not fake!!!!
