Terrible, terrible company to work with. They hired a heating and ventilation business to do a $3,200 bathroom remodel for our rental! The guy did not communicate at all during the work regarding approval of tiles, padding for carpet, etc. and the property manager made the payment without approval. When pictures were sought for work done - tiles did not match, incorrect thickness for carpet padding was used so much so that one would have to struggle to open the door to go to the bathroom. Their guy refused to come back to correct the problems (because he got called out on another invoice for adding a $400 item he was not asked to replace, and charged a whopping amount for another material; google the item and you know it does not cost that much). The property manager, Ashley, along with Business Manager, Nicole, lied, gaslighted that there were no issues (padding was actually not changed at all, it was the old padding, etc.) To cover up, another statement made was that I authorized the payment which I didn't, and that I agreed that no fixing was required, which also was not true. Hopelessly reached out to Brian, the owner, who has a certain superiority complex, no manners, no customer skills, talks to you like he is doin you a favor, talks over you, and demeans other work done on the house. Read the 78 reviews for Sayland Property Management, name used in the past. You will see more tenant complaints there. For some who is being called a slumlord by tenants, he wanted a luxury house to rent with impeccable paint job from us! Stand by the work done through your company dude rather than picking on others and hire reliable workers? You will see a response by Nicole to this review in super fancy language to tell the viewers I am lying and she isn't. These guys will call you when they don't want things on record. They will ignore and not reply to emails. The only email you will get from them is a cover up story to get out of the mess they create. Anyone wanting to work with this company, email and keep records because they will turn around and gang up against you and call you a liar. So, want to work with them, keep good records and ideally hire your own team to do the work. Email and demand a response via email - my 2 cents. Suite One has been my prop manager for over 4 years, and I wouldn’t let anyone else handle my property! It is such a breath of fresh air to have a mgr who takes everything off of your hands. I never have to worry about my tenants or property. Great communication and always professional. Definitely recommend!!

I have been using Suite One for almost two months , I have been trying to find a home to rent for myself and my two sons 15 & 10.
I am using a Housing Choice Voucher that has a date that I have to find a place before that date or my voucher will expire. I made sure the property I applied for was within my price range and that I was the first application, since they work with the first app first and second and so on.. After waiting for one month they did not contact me I had to contact them for the pm to tell me the tenants have decided to stay at the property. Ok, so I put my application on a different property and again I made sure I was first on that property, to no avail, I cant get anybody to call me back or respond to my emails or my voice messages.
All in all I do not feel that this property management has been helpful to me in any way shape or form.
If you are a voucher holder I would strongly suggest going a different direction!!

These people are prejudice and have discrimination problems with anyone who is a voucher holder,

We have been with Suite One for the better part of 7 years and they are absolutely incredible. If there has ever been an issue it gets resolved in the quickest of manners and the owners are just incredible people. I refuse to rent from anybody else just because of the efficiency of everything they do. They are always willing to listen and help and work with people and I couldn’t ask for better people to be on our side.

Shanae was amazing, she helped us create and implement our lease agreement with our tenants and was the perfect choice for helping us manage the legalities that go along with renting in California. She had all the knowledge that we lacked and made the process simple and easy to navigate. I would recommend Suite One to anyone with a second home that they are looking to rent out.

Jasmine and Shanae were so helpful and sweet. They found us a place better than what we originally wanted and it was perfect. They went above and beyond and continued to check up on how we like the place after we moved in. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a place. 10/10

Keep up the great work. Matt & Shanae do a wonderful job. I had never rented from a property management previously, always heard horror stories about unwanted visits, keeping deposits, never fixing any problems. Well that's not the case with Suit One in Paso Robles. Shanea & her team go the extra mile to make sure your rental is your home.

never fail to be rude to my mother at all times. my mom has respiratory issues and was hospitalized for months. she comes home from the hospital and finds out we had black mold. we asked them if they can help us fix it and they told us "just move". then sends us a 3 day notice. I'm convinced someone working there wants to move Into our home because they always seem to tell us to move when we call for an issue.
