My school uses this loan service. Let me tell you, They are sketchy and their payment system is sketchy! I experience payment issues every month! I’m signed up for automatic payments. They charged my card and then sent me emails 5 days later saying that I never paid them and that I must pay a $70 Iatr fee in addition to my usual payment. I honestly believe that they try to scam students with late fees. Their system is HIGHLY flawed and it need to be corrected ASAP because it impacts my credit!!! Get your school loans from somewhere else if possible because they are thieves! This company has brought me nothing but stress and frustration!!!! Bootleg company and system. I Highly DON’T recommend.

I used them for Massage School but the school didn't provide 95% of the materials they were supposed to and the tuition amount went up from when I applied and enrolled so when classes started they told us the price was way more only after 2 weeks of classes. The academic materials was from 2010 not up to date and they where using materials from professors who left like 8 years ago when I told them this and wanted to dispute the amount they said no and wouldn't work with me.

It is a shame this we can give this company one star. I wish there was a negative start system. I am a physician and my school had used this company as a means of financing student aid. What a pitiful excuse for a lending company.
This company has, on numerous occasions, accepted my payment taken the money out of my bank account, attempted to take more payments out and then tried to tell me I didn't pay for the month and then tried to charge me late fee's. After exhaustive efforts to rectify the situation and threatening legal action they are corrected their mistake. I wish that this had only happened once but it was numerous times. En-fact it happened so much I had to find a credit card that would allow me to set up a number that I could set a specific limit on reoccurring payments just so these terrible people couldn't try to over charge me again.
Please hear this message, if you have any other option, and I do mean any other option, short of selling yourself or drugs to make money, do not use this company ever. They are deplorable at best.

Horrible experience, charging me late fees because they are too lazy to pick up their phone. I just started using this services because of my massage school and I regret it so much. I agreed to pay on the 10th of each month and they charge me whenever they want and charge late fees for it. I honestly will be talking to the school about it because I can believed that my school don’t do business with other companies that have better customer service. Horrible experience. Please don’t use them at all. I will have a big conversation as soon as i get somebody on the phone because they sound like they are either sleeping or tired when they answered the phone the last time that i talked to them. Try to use their webside and its like from 1910 as well.

DO NOT USE TFC!
It is definitely a loan shark situation and you will end up screwed over in the end. Multiple times they tried to say I hadn't been making my payments even though I had the back statements to prove they had all been made on time. They shredded my credit and even after sending the check to pay off the whole account so I never have to deal with them again they are sending me letters and emails saying I am late on my payment and trying to get more late fees! I will NEVER use them again or recommend them. Save yourself the headache, keep your credit, choose a different options.

These people are RUDE, lie and refuse to help in any way. I get double charged and I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for a refund. I was lied to was told it was being processed and to wait 3-5 days I call on the 6th day just to find out it was never done while the man in the phone is telling me “ well I could just not put this one through as well “ after I asked if I should call the next day to make sure it was done this time. Never had to deal with such bad customer service.

I have only been dealing with this company for a single month and already see how awful they are. They are RUDE on the phone, do NOT return emails, and do NOT know how to calculate interest. It's bad enough that I would not have signed up for classes at the massage school had I known they were this bad to deal with.

Extremely poor customer service. They're rude and condescending and give no real assistance over the phone. I was forced to use them while in my last year of grad school. My options were to use them, use Sallie Mae (with a cosigner), or drop out I didn't have a cosigner and I wasn't going to drop out. So I truly had no choice but to use them. Would never recommend.
