My husband and I celebrated my birthday weekend with a great stay at the Inn at Onancock. Kim and Matt were gracious and friendly hosts. We loved the Wine Down at 5 where we had some wine and appetizers and met the others staying at the Inn. Breakfast was another chance to get to know the others while enjoying wonderful homemade breakfasts. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. The Inn is just blocks away from shops and restaurants and we explored it all. A couple of the guests were there for repeat visits and that really says a lot.

We loved our stay at The Inn at Onancock! Kim & Matt have set the bar incredibly high with all the extra special touches they provide! A few are a tray of coffee & Chai tea at our door at 7:30 am, a fantastic 3 course breakfast, Wine Down hour at 5pm with tasty wine, homemade apps and good conversation, nice USA made toiletries, and everything was very clean & well maintained! We were celebrating my birthday so hubs had requested flowers, wine and chocolate covered strawberries in our room, Kim did not disappoint! This was our 2nd stay, we like requesting rooms with a fireplace in case an evening is chilly! We highly recommend The Inn at Onancock! They also offer a dog friendly room if you’d prefer to bring your beloved fur baby!

My wife and I wanted to see the sights at the Virginia Eastern Shore. We really enjoyed exploring the small towns on the shore but the highlight of our trip was our stay at the Inn. The gourmet breakfast and wine hour were a cut above what we expected. It was fun hearing from the repeat visitors to the Inn and Kim and Matt provided great background information on the area. The town of Onancock also had a lot to offer within walking distance of the Inn.

Kim and Matt are the consummate hosts. The accommodations are wonderful. Everything is spotless. The food is wonderful. The evening happy hours are a delightful end to the day. This is a wonderful place to chill out, enjoy an historic old town, and make new friends at the Inn. Can't say enough good things. We stayed here last August as well--and that was equally exceptional.

Kim and Matt are gracious hosts. The house is beautiful. The several different rooms ( we are repeaters) we have had were all interesting and comfortable. The wine hour in the evening is a chance to meet fellow guests. Breakfast is another highlight. We plan to return!

We were pampered, fed a great breakfast, loved wining down with Kim and Matt, and slept in the most comfortable bed of our lives!! The Inn is spotless and beautiful with individual HVAC in each room. This was our favorite bed and breakfast experience of all time. The Inn is beautiful and exceptionally well appointed. Kim and Matt are excellent hosts and the food was delicious! We really enjoyed chatting with Kim (and Dante) during the Wine Down hour. We look forward to coming back with our German Shepherd Dog, Duchess. We arrived as pampered guests and left as friends.

Onancock is worth a visit and staying at the Inn at Onancock adds to the charm. Kim and Matt know all there is to know about this sleepy little city along the Chesapeake. Kim looked after our needs. We felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend the Inn.
