This was a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and sweetly decorated accomodations, with laundry facilities inside our unit and a full kitchen. Even some generous treats on our arrival. Beautifully decorated gardens and yard with 2 decks for sitting and enjoying the gorgeous view. Liz, the owner, lives next door and was very responsive to any request, and a very kind and friendly host.

This place is a gem! We happened onto it late one afternoon and it has been great! Many different sized rooms - we booked the smallest and there is plenty of room. Owners are great, the view is incredible, very clean, very quiet. Highly recommend staying here!

Extremely comfortable and beautiful place to stay. There are fantastic views of the glaciers from your suite. The beds were very comfortable and host thought of everything when setting this place up. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub too. Thank-you Liz.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! I would stay here time and time again. A hidden gem in Homer for those who aren't local to Alaska. The views are just other worldly. The beds are heavenly, like sleeping on perfect clouds. The rooms are luxurious and the penthouse rooms come with robes and slippers. Every room has more than you could need for some relaxing time away. We had family that stayed in each type of room they offer, and I would stay in them all! The penthouse is just breath taking though, I will say.
But more so than the wonderful rooms, beautiful grounds and great deck/hot tub for outdoor entertainment, you'll find the folks of Homer, Alaska...going above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable and happy from the beginning. Answering texts and calls, and sharing incredible spaces when necessary. We can not thank you all enough and can't wait to come back. You are all so dear to our heart. What an amazing getaway for my mom's 60th birthday! Our group stayed in all but 2 of the onsite units, and it was so perfect for our little celebration! The upper deck was the perfect place to take in the views of the water and the spit, and the lower deck with a hot tub served as a great place for our group to gather for meals. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and had all amenities we needed in the kitchens. This was easily one of the best rental properties I've ever stayed at and our hosts were so welcoming! We will most definitely be back!

A perfect location and beautiful accommodations for a wonderful weekend getaway.

My fiancée and I stayed here in July for a few days while we explored the area and did some fishing. We absolutely loved everything about The Lighthouse. We were welcomed to our room by Karen with homemade wedding cookies and a bottle of wine from Bear Creek Winery. She showed us the grounds and all the amenities in our room. If we needed anything, she was very responsive and quick to assist but we just kept to our own for most of our stay.

The room was clean and super comfortable. Location couldn’t have been any better. They’re so close to town and the Spit that it made exploring so much easier for us. We fell in love with the sleep machine they had in the room and purchased our own upon returning home. The view from the room couldn’t be more superb and we watched some otters play in the ocean below on a couple different nights. We will definitely be returning here and highly recommend it to our friends, family, and those reading these reviews.

Thank you Josh and Liz for making us feel like family while we stayed in Homer. We cannot wait to return.
