AVOID!!! Wish I checked the reviews before a rent a place with them. This place is run by spineless people who bully students. The apartments are never maintained even though it's falling apart and you definitely won't get your security deposit back because of "cleaning fees" disregarding how well you clean your apartment before moving out.

You aren’t getting your security deposit back, no matter what. You are going to be robbed by these people. Believe these reviews!! I remember seeing the one star and not believing it and renting from them anyways, BELIEVE. THE. REVIEWS.

I lived alone in a very small apartment (for a great rent price though) and I think I had a total of three times when people EVER came over to my apartment. So I am not a partier, you really can’t be in a small small apartment like that. But I somehow still lost half of my security deposit with charges for just apartment upgrades, which is NOT what you should be charged for. I left that apartment in good condition and to loose HALF OF MY DEPOSIT was a crime. So then I emailed and emailed and emailed to receive half ass responses, saying they would reach out to the property manager. Needless to say, if you can find another rental company like CMG or literally anything else, please rent from them. I rented from CMG previously and had a fantastic experience (basically not getting robbed). TNT Flinchum will take your money and you will never see it again. I know these rent prices are tempting but it’s really not worth it.

Monopoly on the rentals of the area make this company the absolute worst. What kind of place doesn't allow people to put in service requests over the phone or online? Absolutely worthless, trash company. Wouldn't even try to work with me when I wanted to break the lease. Literally paid rent and mortgage to avoid any headaches with them. Also, completely worthless "Hidden Fees" made them take 90% of the security deposit.

I'd say don't rent from them, but they are the only game in town.

The worst property management company ever!
From the day I went there, I saw numerous problems. The water would go down the drain so slowly. They exhaust in the bathroom doesn't work they didn't even fix it the entire time we were there. The kitchen and bathroom would get entirely clogged and they made we wait for days to fix it. I couldn't eat or wash dishes. The house was filled with mold. They didn't even told us about the mold issue beforehand. The main door frame was broken they didn't even fix it.The Manager Andy is so unprofessional and rude. He wrote an email threatening me because I called twice for wanting to know when my clogged drain will be fixed. Not at all professional. And lastly they told all the residents of the entire facility to move out as the boiler broke down. The mold was so bad it made me sick.

The mold was growing. It covered all the rooms afterwards.
Oh also water was leaking from the wall and there were holes in the shelves due to which the whole house was filled with mold.

If you have other options, go with the other options. When you leave, they charge for absolutely everything that you can imagine. Here are some examples:
- $135.00 for taking the trash cans to the front of your house)
- Absolutely insane comments about cleaning (when I moved in, the house was disgusting - cat and human hair everywhere. You could do a wig with the amount of hair from the bathroom tub. The house was smelling like cigarettes, it took me days to clean and be free of that smell).
- Removed cotton balls from windows (?)
- Replacing switches (?)
- Removed water bottles (?)

And maaaany others. I am so disappointed because before that, we never had problems with TnT. After we left (and they merged with Townside), things only got worse. If I didn't call them like crazy, I would never get my security deposit (they sent to the wrong address and the person in charge of that was not being helpful at all!).

This placed is a rip off. Was charged 1200 for items that were clean and in good condition. I am currently fighting it with the BBB. I’m prepared to fight this in court if it’s not resolved. Attached are pics of the property when I left. They never justified the 1200 bill. I disregarded all the negative reviews. Please don’t ignore this one. Stay away!!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not rent from this place, you will seriously regret it. Just a few examples of things they did:

-we told them we had carpenter ants because the deck was rotting wood and was attracting them but they said it was the tenants' responsibility to deal with pests and never did anything about it, the wood in the place we rented is probably all chewed up by now

-pipe burst in December, they shut off our water and we had to stay in a hotel because they couldn't tell us when it would be fixed and they wouldn't let us hire our own plumber to repair it. they did not comp our rent even though we couldn't live in our place because it was an "act of god". same pipe burst again 2 months later because they repaired it poorly the first time (it was not caused by cold temperatures, it was in late April)

-the maintenance staff will tell the owners things they see to try to get you in trouble, our place was messy because we were in the middle of trying to move out and they sent someone over to inspect our apartment because there was moving boxes everywhere? idk what they expect when people are moving?

-they will threaten to evict you at any little thing instead of just sending you a message to fix something, like they serve you up a whole entire warning letter
they even sent us one about renter's insurance when we already showed them earlier we had renter's insurance, they tried to evict us over their unorganized paperwork

just like...don't do it, they will treat you horribly, you'll never get your security deposit back, THIS PLACE HAS 1 STAR REVIEWS FOR A REASON, RUN!!!!!!!

Son rented apartment for two years from TNT. Just received bill 6 weeks after he left. Charged $687 to basically remodel the apartment for the next tenant. Apartment was clean and they charged us $300 on a blank invoice.
Do not rent from this company! You will not get your security deposit back.
By the way they were supposed to email him the report in 24 hours after inspection. That did not happen. Inspector took pictures. These were not attached in the bill to prove defects.

When it sounds too cheap to believe, it probably is.
