So far they have been great. Very competitive pricing, app, and customer service ! I would have to say for me though price drives my choice in insurance as I always pay premiums and never use it (knock on wood). So far there isn’t any complaints after 7 months with Tom Moore State Farm

My experience with Tom Moore State Farm is what some would call eventful. As I have been waiting for 2 claims I’ve had to be taken care of by a body shop that’s taken over a year to get parts, once those parts were received I was issued a rental car per coverage of my policy 80/20. The body shop was handling two separate claims for two completely different dates and situations. However, State Farm recently stopped covering my rental car as of 7-20-24 which was understandable as I no longer have insurance through them and it had reached the max policy of $500. What they failed to inform enterprise of was there were two seperate claims. They did not schedule me to have the rental car for the right period of time and once I am informed that it was incorrectly done I am told that they can no longer issue anything else so now I will have to pay commerical price for the rental car ($55 a day compared to $27). As my car has been sitting in the shop waiting for pick for an extra 10 days because State Farm misinformed me on payment. As I was issued a comprehensive check and once my car went into the shop I was told there was supplemental parts needed and I went to State Farm to see what the process would be if they would just right me a new check or would they send me or the body shop the money. I was told to come in and I would be issued a new check. I went inside the angry on 7-22-24, I provided the check and awaited a new one just to be told that they couldn’t issue a new check due to it being past the 90 day period. Why was I not informed that on the phone? Then I am told Tom would have to reach out to the claims department and see what needed to be done. Claims said they would epay me the money, which I am okay with no issues there. Issue is that it is now 7-30-24 my car has been done since 7-22-24 and State Farm is just now looking over these supplemental parts that could take up to 5 days. 5 X 55 is $275. I just paid enterprise $227 yesterday 7-29-24 because State Farm stopped covering the vehicle. My issue is that I was misinformed by State Farm about payment for my comprehensive claim so now I have to wait another 5 days to get the extra money as the body shop won’t release my car until proof of payment is shown. This process between State Farm and I has been tremendous to say the least. As they do not take any responsibility for their negligence of the situation as it was somebody in the office that told me they could write me a new check same day. It’s poor quality on State Farm to actually do their job as it is written and to follow protocol as this compressive claim was in the system and filed so all they would have to do was check the date at which the original check was given and tell me it was a dead line and I could’ve made arrangements to come in earlier so I would have the supplemental payment in a reasonable time. If you are looking for insurance, look elsewhere I wish I would’ve to begin with.
