I called and all i get is an automated service machine that doesn't have an option to speak to a representative and just hang up on you and there's no way to speak to a live person. How are you going to communicate with someone if your option is to talk to a non sense machine only.

They closed the Richmond branch without any notification! Several members pulled up to find the doors closed, atm's not working and signs on the door saying to either go to Vallejo or Concord branches. How inconvenient is that? Then, you call the number and they don't know anything either. Bad business!

I can not say how much I have benefited from banking with Travis Credit Union. My credit has jumped over 80 points since working with Indira. She has been such a gem and supporter in my financial growth. I feel like she really cares.

I was in bank hell. Ally bank was awful and I needed a new bank. Found local Travis credit union and had an issue due to my own mistake with online sign up. So customer service was wonderful on the phone and I had to visit the Richmond branch to fix the issue. The person in customer service was incredibly helpful and flexible along with the manager when I explained my situation trying to resolve my issue. I am so pleased with how I was treated. The app is backwards compatible with my old phone, and I can’t say more about this credit union so far. Only hitch I heard of is getting purchases declined via the visa feature if you do unusual purchases to stop fraud. Was told to let them know if you plan on using the card out of state or for big purchases so this doesn’t happen. Supposedly soon you can verify this in the app but not yet. So far so good. Thx Richmond branch of Travis!!

I went to the credit union at the time of the economic crisis, tired of big banks. After years of being a member since then I have been very disappointed by Travis, especially the branch that I frequent, the hilltop Richmond branch. For the longest time even the physical facility was problematic, the door to the ATM vestibule and the card swipe did not work and the ATM were always down for one thing or another; it was almost a year before they fixed the entrance and upgraded the ATM, I have found the phone customer support sorely lacking, they often say they are making some requested change to my information, and never follow through.Even when I updated my phone number myself, the system retained my old number, and when they froze my account for two small Walmart purchases, an entity that I buy from online regularly, I was unaware because they were sending notifications to my old phone, so instead of emailing me, they just shut everything down, leaving me to scurry around worridly on a Saturday night after having my card declined. I hate to say it but I am ready to return to the Bof A, I am just sick of thier unprofessionalism.

Never answer the phone, even their customer service line is always busy. I've been put on hold for over an hour every time I call. The banker Darian was somewhat helpful at first or so I thought, she was set to call me back to verify if my late fee would be waived. Never did. The fee was charged. I've called her direct line and sent her several emails. Never heard back. She nevee gave me copies of the request she submitted to have the fee waived. Did not offer me copies of my statements. She also informed me that I have a savings account with them that I NEVER authorized. Never gave me info on that either. Dont even know anything about the account other than it was open illegally. I have my car loan with Travis that I got thru the dealership directly and they never said anything about opening a savings account. It's ILLEGAL to open accounts without customer authorization. Didn't you guys learn from the legal battles wells fargo went thru for this I have never received any information, no statements or anything in regards to my loan. The banker even admitted that there was no form of delivery method marked on my account so nothing was sent out. Yet i was still charged a late fee for a payment i never was told the due date because a statement was never sent. I have also tried several times to create an account online but get rejected every time due to being "unable to verify my information". I will definitely be refinancing with another bank. The worst bank I've ever dealt with. I was in banking for 7 years and I never treated a customer this way. Nor opened any accounts without their knowledge.

I just want to personally thank Marc at this location. TCU is not known for exceptional customer service by any means, but Marc shows he cares about his work ethic & values his client. I think they should promote him to a position in which he leads other staff to this high standard through example. The corporation should recognize people like this & make sure they reward this kind of behaviour because most employees do not care. Thank you, Marc. Keep on shining..

Travis credit union is a fraud. Every 6 months like clock work, they charge me an overdraft fee, even though I have money in there. I have a business account so I watch it very carefully. They are quick to cash the checks you write when you have money pending but take forever when you have the funds. I would recommend opening an account at BofA rather than here. They have more locations.
I would also like to add that everytime I walk into the bank and bring this overdraft problem to their attention. They tell me casually just call it in, like it happens all the time. You know what happens if I don't call it in, THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Another thing that I noticed regarding their over draft fees is, sometimes when I make purchases with my debit card, the purchases get declined the first time, even though I have funds in my account, when it gets charged a 2nd time it goes through, but I still get an over draft fee because it didn't go through the first time. I have made numerous complaints but they don't seem to do anything about it
