Working with Linda Devito was one of the worst experiences in our lifetime, and in the process was a discredit to the Broker she works for. We expected that Linda would be working for us and advertise our property to attract interested buyers and get competitive bids that were close to our asking price. In fact she failed to act on our behalf and conducted the transaction as a private cash sale. The property was showed to only one client who coincidently turned out to be the buyer. All of this happened without discussion or our consent. At every step of the way we were misinformed, misrepresented, and subjected to broken promises. It took weeks after making initial contact to draw up a contract and list the property. The MLS was not released until after we agreed to a selling price, and the contract was similarly delayed until after an agreed price was reached. In all aspects of the sale Linda acted in bad faith, and was done in such a way as to appear on the up and up. My wife and I are unhappy with the outcome of our business dealing with Linda Devito, and suggest if you are looking to buy or sell a property with United Blue Ridge request someone other than Linda to work with. Trust is the glue that makes for a good real estate agent buyer/seller relationship. Certainly there are other agents at United Blue Ridge who are capable of upholding the solid reputation of the business and provide the service one deserves.

Working with Linda DeVito was one of the best parts of moving for our family. We had the exact opposite experience of the recent one star review of Linda, which makes me wonder if there was more to the story than was posted. Linda went above and beyond the duties of a realtor, going so far as to help us move a gigantic swing set with her trailer that would have been expensive and cumbersome to do ourselves. Linda was personable, communicative, and timely in all of her responses. We were pleased with how she conducted the showings of our home, taking the time and energy to be present for almost every single showing and reminding buyers to please wear their masks and take shoes off (our requests). I would highly recommend working with Linda DeVito as a realtor. She is authentic, transparent, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. She’s the whole package!
