I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional management here. Madam Laura, our manager, is always on top of things. Whenever I contact her about any issues in the unit I'm occupying, she responds quickly and helps me find a solution promptly. Her communication skills are excellent, and she deeply understands the importance of safety and security for all residents.

During my first few months living here, I experienced firsthand her dedication and commitment. When I urgently needed a place to move into, Laura made the process seamless and efficient for both of us. Her hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed.

I’ve been living at Pepper Creek since August of 2023 and I couldn’t be happier here. The neighborhood is fairly quiet despite it being next to a freeway. There’s a bunch of food options near by as well, so the location is awesome!

Laura, the property manager has been awesome since I moved in. She made sure my apartment was ready the day I moved in, her communication is GREAT! The complex is always clean including the Gym which is a nice amenity. Laura is prompt on replying to any concerns and sends emails to the Complex when information needs to be addressed as well . Overall I’m very pleased with my choice at Pepper Creek!

Pepper Creek was our very first apartment and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Laura, the manager, was so sweet and always responsive. Our apartment itself was newly renovated and the perfect place to call home. The gym is new and has everything you need, the pool and hot tub are always clean and well kept. I wish we didn’t have to move. I genuinely recommend living here if you are looking for an apartment in El Cajon, as the value for what you pay is unbeatable.

I’m a social worker with a client that lives here. My client is on a fixed income and struggles to provide the basic necessities for himself. As the market is changing management added higher fees making it impossible for him to pay them. I got on the phone and talked to Laura who was just such a sweetheart. She was kind and patient with us and answered all of our questions. It goes a long way having a good person in the front instead of a rude person that offers little hope in tough situations like this. I have so many clients whose office managers and management companies are ruthless. This company seems to value its tenants and respect their struggle. I have been living in these apartments for 9 months. For this being my first apartment I have really enjoyed living here and haven’t had any regrets. The manager Laura is very efficient at her job and quick with maintenance requests. They are usually always attended to the next day. She is very nice and you can tell she is very hardworking & always makes sure everything is running smoothly here in the Peppercreek community. I would say the pros definitely outweigh the cons. There are so many amenities to enjoy like the pool, jacuzzi, newly renovated gym, dog run. The only cons I would really say is the parking is limited to 1 spot for 1 bedroom or 2 parking spots for 2 bedrooms. They do have the option to be put on a waitlist for an additional parking space. Living next to the street can get a little noisy but other than that everyone here is pretty friendly and the community is very quiet, I haven’t had any problems! Definitely recommend these apartments if you are interested in living in the El Cajon area.

We have lived here a year already and have really enjoyed our stay and the amenities this facility has to offer.. The staff, especially Laura DeLeon, and even George the Maintenance Engineer have been a real help to us and a joy to talk with. We get our questions answered almost immediately and they also provide timely maintenance when the need arises. We have always felt secure at this location. It is with some sorrow that we must leave, but our health dictates we need to be in an Assisted Living Facility. If you are looking for a new home, we highly recommend you consider Pepper Creek Apartments. It is centrally located and really convenient to local shopping and entertainment.

UPDATE after 2 years - STILL the BEST property in service, amenities and cost/benefit ratio. Renting in Lakewood section of Dallas for over 24 years means I have experienced the range of property service and management. Laura, the Peppercreek Manager, is just absolutely the ultimate in communication, follow through, care and efficiency. The maintenance staff, Jorge, is above board & exceptional. Maybe that’s why the community of residents are also so friendly. ❤️☀️ I LOVE it here.
