As a first-time renter, I've heard slews of horror stories regarding property management companies and I'm pleased to say that Valentine's has eschewed every single one. Phones are answered, services provided, maintenance issues addressed, and Karen Whall was nothing short of a complete angel to work with during our resigning of the lease. Emily Coleman and Lacey also have taken excellent care of us this past year. I genuinely felt cared for and respected as a person. They communicate in a timely fashion with compassion and friendliness, and I'm grateful to be renting from them for another year.

Me and my family were tenants in a house managed by valentine for several years. In the first few years they were great, respectful, and did whatever it took to take care of us. Upon moving and deciding a different area for my family was suitable things changed slightly with how professional things were handled. Some questions were left unanswered and the attitude of Kim was very poor on several occasions. Failed to mention that if we move out the beginning of the month we can apply for a rebate so we lost out on two weeks of possible back rent owed. Discussed with the owner things wrong with the house and was told it’s ok, we wouldn’t be charged yet valentine management charged every fee they could. Also spent 3 days cleaning the house we left and did a great job, yet was still charged an additional cleaning fee. Looking through the paperwork, they nickel and dimed as much as they could to give back as little of the deposit we put down. We will not be using valentine in any future engagements. Poor communication and slightly unprofessional. Owner of the house is a great respectful guy I will add and was very professional every time we engaged with him.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I've never encountered a more arrogant or rude group.
Full disclosure: I was visiting the dental office across from this business when I came across salespeople from Valentine, which is the basis for this review.

I can't say enough great things about this company. They have been fantastic to work with. From viewing the property to the application process, approval, leasing and move in, everything was so well organized and easy. The staff is wonderful and so sweet and Emily is the absolute best. Always answers your calls and texts and has the answer and if not, she'll get it for you. The property is great and the maintenance has been minor but the maintenance team has also been wonderful. We've been here two months and so far are very happy. Highly recommend VPM! Thank you all for helping us find a new home. ❤️😁

We've used Valentine Property Management for 6 years so far on an out of state property of ours. Truly appreciate them and they're a great property Management team! I deal mostly with Karen Whall but the entire team is great!
I like that things go smoothly, rarely hear from them but when I do there's a plan and they handle it for us!

As a tenant, using a Property Management company can go a little of both ways. Even with a few blips along 3 years, Kim, Karen and the staff made the experience pretty good. The house was very nice and the area was pretty nice. We made friends with many neighbors and had some nice holidays. Happy New Years to staff.
