There is a malfunctioning fire alarm that goes off without stopping for days, weeks, even MONTHS at a time. It happens every few weeks. Since 7/1/23 it has gone off 5 times. The residents in the building cannot sleep during this time. Having a functioning fire alarm is the very least they can do to ensure a safe building. So we all pay monthly for an unsafe building, not up to fire safety standards that we cannot sleep in. Multiple calls to the office go unanswered. This company is the epitome of slum lords who do not care at all about quality of life for residents, or safety.

I have made this complaint several times. But there is a tenant letting in homeless people who are obviously high who leave garbage everywhere (hallways, laundry room, lobby)and sleep in the hallways. I feel so unsafe in this budling now. NOTHING has been done.

UPDATE 16 HOURS LATER he is still there. he got high and was being weird in the hall including right in front of my door. He was there all night!
UPDATE; Just received this from the regional Manager. They cannot care about you less; "I understand you feel unsafe in your unit. With that being said, we do have a lease break option available. If that is something you would be interested, please let me know and I will connect you with the right team.

However, please note breaking your lease will incur a lease break fee which are about 2x monthly rent."

the fire alarm is still malfunctioning. since 12/15/24. I cannot sleep and do not feel safe when this happens. No one does anything to fix it. This will be night 4 of zero sleep.

UPDATE this place has gotten DRASTICALLY worse. the fire alarm has been going off all of February. I have had to sleep elsewhere because they will not fix it. I pay to live in a place I cannot sleep. Also the common areas are FILTHY they clearly do not clean them. All packages are stolen and our mailboxes were broken into yesterday. People sleeping in the hallways, garbage everywhere and repeated requests to speak to upper management are completely ignored. I cannot believe anyone who works for this company can live with themselves.

3/4/25 Stroller filled with garbage/feces has been in the hal for +18 hours. Human feces in the lobby (there are no dogs in the building large enough to have done this)

There is a malfunctioning fire alarm that goes off for days weeks and months at a time non-stop the alarm goes off. Nobody in the office will return my calls. And absolutely nothing is being done to fix it. So we all just live in a building with a malfunctioning fire alarm and alarm system that does not work, and it is hugely affecting my sleep. I can't sleep when this goes off neither can most of the other residents, and it's just incredibly unsafe. I'm so basically we all pay rent for apartments we can't sleep in and they're not fire safe.

The maintenance department for my building is superb. They always keep you informed about your maintenance request. The workers are prompt, friendly, do good work and clean up before they leave. Earlier this year I had some maintenance issues in my apartment. Lisa F. was quick to respond, asked appropriate questions to triage the situation, and immediately provided clear instruction to my property manager to start executing remediation steps. I raised a few safety and habitable condition concerns which were acknowledged and addressed. One’s home is a very personal topic. Not only was she professional in her communications with me throughout the remediation process, she was also warm and sincere. A few months later, one of the issues reoccurred but in a different part of my home. Again, Lisa was consistent with her level of service. She treated the reoccurrence with a stronger sense of urgency. Lisa F. is decisive, exercises good judgement, and has the strong communication skills to kick-start action.

Really understanding and good management. It’s been a difficult time for these landlords as wells as they have to pay taxes and what not . We understood what they told us and finally paid our rent in full . We as renters have to understand what landlords go through as well .
