I'm closing out my Village Bank account once my pending charges clear and switching to Wells Fargo. I have zero issues with WF and C&F. Was planning on migrating my business account from Truist due to their fees but have no issues with any incoming outgoing zelle, paypal, coinbase, or other 3rd party plug in payments companies. Village bank is SEVERELY behind the competition and their mobile app/online banking is subpar. Who has time these days to deal with basic banking issues? Overzealous with everything, holds, freezes, taking forever on an "expedited" debit card, just over it. Note - it is not the employees of VB fault. Its directly in correlation to the rapid decline of VB and its services. It used to be a good local issuer. Not anymore!
